Restaurant Brands International Inc. is one of the world's largest quick service restaurant companies with nearly $49 billion in annual system-wide sales and over 33,000 restaurants in more than 120 countries and territories.
RBI owns four of the world's most prominent and iconic quick service restaurant brands – TIM HORTONS®, BURGER KING®, POPEYES®, and FIREHOUSE SUBS®. These independently operated brands have been serving their respective guests, franchisees and communities for decades. RBI is committed to growing the TIM HORTONS®, BURGER KING®, POPEYES® and FIREHOUSE SUBS® brands by leveraging their respective core values, employee and franchisee relationships, and long track records of community support. Each brand benefits from the global scale and shared best practices that come from ownership by Restaurant Brands International Inc.
Restaurant Brands International is looking for a Manager, Graphic Design to join the Burger King Canada team. This is an exciting opportunity working alongside the Marketing team, leading the design function and shaping the visual and motion identity of the brand across the Canadian business.
We're looking for a talented creative leader who can transform concepts and ideas into compelling visual and motion content across print, digital, and video. You will help refine and drive the implementation of Burger King's core brand guidelines across all guest touchpoints — including the mobile app, digital advertising, social media, menu boards, out-of-home displays, and video/animation content support for campaigns and in-restaurant experiences. In addition to being a strong individual creative contributor, you will manage and develop a Junior Graphic Designer, providing hands-on coaching, creative direction, and feedback to help grow their skills and career.
Candidates must have strong proficiency in design and motion/video production software, a solid understanding of UX/UI design, and experience mentoring or managing junior creative talent.
Bringing a combination of strong project management, communication, and time management skills — along with the ability to conceptualize, produce, and deliver multimedia and video content — is critical to this role's success. We are excited for someone with a can-do attitude, where no job is too big or too small to handle! You are excited to roll up your sleeves, lead by example, and work in a dynamic, results-driven and high-change environment.
RBI follows a 5 day, in-office work schedule to support collaboration. Successful candidates will be expected to work onsite 5 days per week.
Roles And Responsibilities:
How You’ll Help Us Rule
• Translate strategic direction into high-quality design, video, and animation within the established Burger King brand identity.
• Lead the end-to-end creation of video and motion content — including storyboarding, shooting/sourcing footage, editing, and animating — for campaign support as needed, social media, digital advertising, and in-restaurant menu boards.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a Junior Graphic Designer, including setting goals, reviewing and providing constructive feedback on their work, delegating projects appropriately, and supporting their growth in design, video, and animation skills.
• Ensure all design, video, and animation elements align with brand guidelines and company standards.
• Support both national campaign creative and local franchisee advertising efforts, including static, animated, and video assets.
• Develop and produce high-quality graphics, illustrations, layouts, animation, and video content for marketing materials including, but not limited to: mobile app, digital advertising, animated menu boards, email marketing, social media, and out-of-home displays.
• Manage the design and uploading process for all project materials, based on best practices for using a content management system.
• Communicate design and creative decisions and specifications in scalable and reproducible formats.
• Collaborate with internal marketing/digital teams and external agency partners to conceptualize and execute creative campaigns, including video and motion deliverables, and leverage promotional materials.
• Establish workflows and quality standards for the design team's video and animation output, keeping current with emerging tools, trends, and best practices in motion design.
Skills and Qualifications:
What Ingredients You’ll Bring
