Holman is a family-owned, global automotive services organization anchored by our deeply rooted core values and principles that have enabled us to continue Driving What’s Right throughout the last century. Our teams deliver the Holman Experience by treating our customers and each other as we would like to be treated, and creating positive, rewarding relationships all around.
The automotive markets Holman serves include fleet management and leasing; vehicle fabrication and upfitting; component manufacturing and productivity solutions; powertrain distribution and logistics services; commercial and personal insurance and risk management; and retail automotive sales as one of the largest privately owned dealership groups in the United States.
Holman is currently accepting applications for the position of Manager-Retail Corporate Accounting.
Why This Role
- Judgment-focused work. Centralized teams handle AP, AR, and cash, and OneStream automates consolidation across 110+ entities. Your time goes to close oversight, technical reserves, real estate and capital accounting, and process improvement, all supporting our Retail Division's standalone, KPMG-audited financial statements.
- Real ownership. You'll make GAAP accounting decisions within established guidelines and set priorities for your team's development and automation work.
- A team to lead, and a leader who invests in you. You'll lead four direct reports and report directly to the Director of Accounting, with weekly one-on-ones and monthly close debriefs so you always know what good looks like and where you stand.
- Modern tools. You'll work in OneStream and Databricks, with Microsoft Copilot available to help you work smarter.
- A path forward. Strong performers move into broader responsibilities across the finance organization, supported by an annual leadership retreat, leadership training, and other development programs.
Why Holman
- Small-company feel, big-company resources. We've been a family business since 1924, and it still feels like one. You'll also have the systems and support of a 6,000+ person company, one of the largest integrated automotive services companies in North America.
- Major scale in retail. Our Retail Division runs 71 new vehicle franchises representing 31 brands and is one of the largest privately held dealership groups in the U.S. You'll support a multi-location business that sells, finances, and services vehicles.
- Built for the long run. We're family- and employee-owned, so we plan for the next hundred years, not the next quarter. For you, that means stability, a stake in our shared success, and the chance to make your mark on our future.
- A recognized employer. Holman is a certified Great Place to Work® and was named one of Forbes' America's Best Large Employers for 2026.
