Job purpose

We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to join our growing PHINIA engineering team as a Manufacturing Engineer ! This position will support us in ME daily work in Injector & Rail APU and reports to ME Supervisor-GDi Calibration.

Key Responsibilities

• Performs manufacturing engineering work relating to production process, production methods.
• Track, analyze and record equipment overall effectiveness and identify process improvements.
• Analysis of existing production quality problems and take immediate corrective action/solution..
• Focus on quality of products produced in the production systems.
• Work with the assigned quality engineer to ensure that all quality issues are adequately and appropriately addressed.
• Create and update production floor documents relating to production equipment
• Assist in training of production operators and maintenance personnel on production equipment.
• Plan and oversee the installation and startup of manufacturing equipment. 
• Provide technical support for mechanics in troubleshooting.
• Ensure tooling drawing release and management, ensure mechanical spare parts drawings available
• Accomplish tasks assigned by supervisor and manager.
• Make safety and environment the most important criteria in the working area and for the individual

What we’re looking for

• College degree of Automatic or mechanic or engineering major or equivalent experience
• 3 years work experience on process engineering. Automotive component manufacturing experience is preferred. Experience on PFMEA,PFD, process and equipment.
• Knowledge of Mechanical, assembly, laser welding process and testing. Good problem solving techniques
• Auto CAD&3D drawing required, excel data summary& PPT report, industry camera such as Cognex visual is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
• Good command of written English. Good command of oral English is a plus.
• Enthusiastic & eager to learn; A team player, High degree of personal integrity and honesty.
• Good communication skill.
