Market Access Senior Specialist

Job Description

Market Access Senior Specialist will independently lead end-to-end patient access for assigned products and take full ownership of project results. This role drives strategy and negotiations with government stakeholders, works across local and global functions, and acts as a go-to expert for the team. It requires resilience, strong accountability and deep expertise.

What you will do

• Independently own and lead access strategies for assigned products, from early pipeline assessment through listing and post-listing management, to secure optimal pricing and access conditions in line with business priorities and global access strategies
• Lead negotiations and high-level communication with government stakeholders (e.g., MoHW, HIRA, NHIS), and act as the main contact for assigned products
• Lead post-listing price management, including reimbursement expansion, PVA, RSA re-evaluation and rejection/appeal management, and conduct post-negotiation reviews to capture lessons learned
• Set the direction for local value demonstration, including model adaptation strategy, local evidence generation plans and engagement with CORE, GMAx and medical/HTA societies
• Anticipate policy and environmental changes (e.g., RSA, flexible pricing, cost-containment measures), assess price/reimbursement impact and propose mitigation strategies to leadership and business units
• Lead cross-functional and regional/global alignment on access assumptions, forecasts and pricing approvals
• Coach and mentor junior team members, review their deliverables and share best practices across the team

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE

• 7~8 years' experience in market access or HEOR in the pharmaceutical industry, academia or an HTA agency
• A track record of independently leading reimbursement listing, pricing negotiations or RSA/contract processes from start to finish
• Functional Knowledge: Medicine, Epidemiology, Pharmacoeconomics, Statistics, and Korean pricing and reimbursement policy
• Skills: Strategic thinking, Stakeholder management, Negotiation, Model adaptation, Data analysis, Documentation
• Leadership Behaviors: Customer and Patient Focus, Ownership and Accountability, Collaboration, Results Driven, Developing Others
• License / Certificate: PharmD or PhD preferred
