At Interstellar Lab, our mission is to build a future full of life — on Earth and beyond. We believe in a world where technology enables humans to live in harmony with nature, where biodiversity thrives, and where terrestrial life becomes multi-planetary.
To help build this future, we design, manufacture and operate controlled-environment biofarms that unlock the power of plants — both on Earth and in space. Our solutions combine hardware, AI and bioscience to recreate a wide range of environmental conditions, enabling plants, fungi and microorganisms to grow faster and more efficiently.
On Earth, we are pioneering molecular and bio-farming, increasing the production of nutrients, metabolites and bioactive compounds in plants while providing a sustainable and safe source of plant materials. Our customers include leading companies in the beauty, perfume, natural ingredients, food & beverage and nutraceutical industries.
To support space exploration, we also collaborate with space agencies and private companies to develop bio-farming units capable of producing food for astronauts and enabling research on the effects of microgravity on plant biology.
