Mechanical Technician

Role and Responsibilities

· Responsible for Building, installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing and testing mechanical equipment and systems to ensure efficient and safe operation.

· Work closely with engineers & technician teams, on different system engineering projects.

· Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, P&IDs, and technical manuals to build and Installation, align, and commission new mechanical equipment.

· Conduct routine inspections to identify potential equipment failures and replace defective components and ensure proper machine functioning.

· Follow safety procedures and company maintenance standards.

· Maintain the requirements of consumables and Co-ordinate with inventory team and ensure the availability of the materials.

Skills and Experience:

· ITI with minimum 4-6 years of experience.

· Knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment, Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

· Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.

· Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

· Good communication and teamwork abilities.

· Grinding, cutting, drilling and assembly of mechanical components.

· Basic understanding of work safety and using PPE’s is essential skill.

· Basic knowledge of MS-office and outlook.

· Welding skills add advantages.
