IQVIA is seeking a driven and commercially minded Medical Sales Representative to support the launch of an innovative new therapy in the obesity space. About the Role

Reporting to the State Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and growing your territory by engaging with General Practitioners and key healthcare stakeholders. Through strategic relationship building, customer education, and effective territory management, you'll help drive awareness and adoption of a breakthrough obesity therapy.

This is a field-based role offering autonomy, variety, and the opportunity to make a genuine impact in an evolving therapeutic area.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic territory business plan to maximise opportunities and drive sustainable growth.
• Achieve sales objectives and key performance targets across your territory.
• Build trusted, long-term relationships with General Practitioners and other healthcare professionals.
• Deliver compelling product discussions and educational presentations.
• Support the implementation of local and national initiatives to strengthen brand presence.
• Maintain a high level of clinical and product knowledge, as well as an understanding of the obesity treatment landscape.
• Monitor market activity and identify opportunities to grow territory performance.

About You

We're looking for someone who is motivated, resilient, and passionate about building strong customer relationships.

You may bring:

• Exposure to GP sales, obesity, metabolic health, or product launches (highly regarded but not essential).
• A degree in Science, Health, Business, or a related discipline (advantageous).
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to work independently across a large territory.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
• A proven track record of achieving targets and delivering results.
• Strong planning, organisation, and relationship-building capabilities.
• A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel throughout the VIC East Suburbs.
