Medior Producer

DEPT® is a Growth Invention company built to help the world’s most ambitious brands grow faster. Operating at the intersection of technology and marketing, our 4,000+ specialists deliver growth invention services across Brand & Media, Experience, Commerce, CRM, and Technology & Data. We’re 50|50 tech and marketing, partner-led, and first to move. Clients include Google, Lufthansa, Meta, eBay, and OpenAI. We have been certified B Corp and Climate Neutral since 2021.

Our Creative & Media team in Amsterdam is a vibrant mix of creatives, strategists, and content specialists who craft social-first and digital campaigns for brands like bol, The Vegetarian Butcher, Grolsch, and Viper. To support our growing volume of in-house productions, we’re looking for a Medior In-House/Social Producer with a passion for making things happen from quick-turn social shoots to full in-house productions across video and photography.

JOB PURPOSE

As our In-house & Social Producer, you are the driving force behind all productions we execute internally. You set up and manage shoots using our in-house production pool (directors, DPs, editors, photographers, stylists), ensuring each project runs efficiently, creatively, and within budget.

You will work shoulder-to-shoulder with (social) creatives, editors, and the PM/account team to bring ideas to life, whether it’s crafting fast-moving social content or delivering bigger, more complex campaigns that we produce fully in-house. You’ll be the go-to person for the social team when it comes to the production approach, offering guidance and practical solutions on how to make ideas happen, efficiently and at high quality. As the social team continues to grow rapidly, this role gives you the opportunity to shape, build, and elevate the social/in-house productions from the ground up.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Produce social-first and in-house content across fast-paced shoots, ongoing content series, and larger campaigns, ensuring creative concepts are executed seamlessly from start to finish.
• Translate creative ideas into actionable production plans, including timelines, budgets, shotlists, schedules, crew planning, and delivery, keeping every project on track.
• Proactively optimize production workflows, identifying opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and implement best practices for future projects.
• Advise on crew selection and team composition, working closely with creative teams to ensure the right internal or external talent is assigned to each project for maximum creative impact.
• Ensure platform-specific requirements and technical standards are applied to every asset, delivering high-quality content tailored for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other channels.
• Collaborate across departments, supporting social specialists, editors, and account teams to align production with broader campaign goals and client expectations.
• Maintain and schedule internal and external talent pools, including directors, DPs, editors, stylists, photographers, and production crew, to ensure resources are available when needed.

WHAT YOU BRING

• A couple of years of experience as a Producer, In-House Producer, or Social Producer ideally at a creative agency, or digital-first brand.
• Experience setting up or running in-house shoots (small crew setups, content-heavy (different assets) days, recurring formats).
• Strong understanding of social platforms and how to produce content that’s fast, relevant, and high quality.
• Comfortable managing multiple productions at once from quick social edits to full-day shoots.
• A natural organiser with the ability to create order, clarity, and momentum in creative environments.
• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English.
• A proactive spirit: always a step ahead, always solving, always creating opportunities.

WE OFFER

• A flexible, hybrid working policy (2-3 days from the office, depending on location) and the opportunity to work from abroad for 13 weeks a year.
• 24 vacation days per year and the possibility to buy an unlimited number of extra vacation days.
• DEPT®/YOU Learning Menu and DEPT®/YOU Special Programs. Develop your skills with courses and programs tailored to your needs.
• Stay happy and healthy with a contribution to your health through the OpenUp platform, gym and wellness discounts, and healthy lunches at the office.
• Get a discount on your lease bike and ride in style. You can also enjoy hassle free-commutes with an NS Business Card.
• A reputation for doing good. DEPT® has been a Certified B Corp® since 2021, has been named a Great Place To Work since 2022 in the Netherlands and named ‘Agency of the Year’ at both The Lovies and The Webby Awards.
• Awesome clients. Whether big, small, local or global — at DEPT® you’ll get the opportunity to work with all of them. And we celebrate all of our successes together!

We are drawn to people who stay curious, move with intent, and never stop inventing. Our culture runs on three values: better together, relentlessly curious, and get sh*t done. It is how we work, how we grow, and how we make things that matter.

At DEPT®, you will find the freedom to explore, the space to collaborate, and the trust to make a real impact for our clients, for each other, and for the world we are helping to build.

DIVERSITY, EQUITY & INCLUSION

At DEPT®, we take pride in creating an inclusive workplace where everyone has an equal opportunity to thrive. We actively seek to recruit, develop, nurture, and retain talented individuals from diverse backgrounds, with varying skills and perspectives.

Not sure you meet all qualifications? Apply, and let us decide! Research shows that women and members of underrepresented groups tend not to apply for jobs when they think they may not meet every requirement, when in fact they do. We believe in giving everyone a fair chance to shine.

We also encourage you to reach out to us and discuss any reasonable adjustments we can make to support you throughout the recruitment process and your time with us.
