AIS is seeking a Microsoft Teams Rooms / Collaboration Deployment Engineer to deploy and validate MS Teams Rooms and related collaboration capabilities across a large, secure enterprise environment for a federal customer in Groton, CT.
Plan, configure, deploy, and validate Teams Rooms on Windows, room accounts, licensing, and device-management policies.
Coordinate room readiness across AV hardware, network, power, displays, cameras, audio systems, and site operations.
Implement Entra join, Intune enrollment, certificates, 802.1X, VLAN, FQDN, and firewall requirements.
Execute pilot, cutover, and acceptance activities while resolving deployment and in-room user-experience issues.
Create deployment standards, site-survey checklists, test scripts, and handoff documentation.
Partner with network, endpoint, security, facilities, and AV vendors to remove delivery blockers.
4+ years in Teams, endpoint, unified communications, or AV deployment engineering.
Hands-on Microsoft Teams Rooms deployment and troubleshooting experience.
Experience with Intune, Entra ID, Windows device management, certificates, and enterprise networking.
Practical knowledge of AV peripherals, room systems, and onsite rollout coordination.
Ability to communicate clearly with technical teams, field technicians, and customer stakeholders.
Teams Rooms Pro Management or Teams Phone experience.
802.1X/NDES/SCEP certificate-deployment experience.
Large-scale room rollout experience.
