We are hiring **Nanofabrication Engineers** to help advance our next generation processing and packaging efforts. We are open to both **senior and junior candidates**, with responsibilities matched to experience.
**What You’ll Work On**
* Develop and optimize nanofabrication processes for advanced photonic and hardware systems
* Photolithography process development using tools such as **MLA150 Heidelberg systems** (\~1 µm resolution)
* Work with **E-beam lithography tools** (100–120 kV class)
* Deep UV lithography process development
* Dry and wet etching processes
* Thick metal deposition and lift-off processes
* Sputtering, E-beam evaporation, PECVD, and annealing workflows
* Process integration for packaging and device fabrication
* Film and surface characterization using: Ellipsometry, AFM, SEM
**Preferred Background**
* Hands-on cleanroom fabrication experience
* Strong understanding of nanofabrication chemistry and process interactions
* Experience in **UC Berkeley** nanofabrication facilities or **Stanford University** cleanrooms is a major plus
* PhD preferred (MS/BS with strong experience also considered)
* Prior experience in fiber optics or photonics is a plus
