Mercy Hospital’s Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) is a 12-bed unit that provides cardiac critical care and cares for open heart surgery patients. The CVICU has great teamwork and is known for its inclusion, integrity, empathy and caregiver longevity. This unit also has low readmission rates, low falls and high patient satisfaction ratings, participates in community activities, and is starting a mentor program. As an RN Resident on the team, you will work with fellow caregivers in delivering exceptional care, throughout the patient care journey. In this role, you will interact directly with patients and their families, offering the opportunity to enhance their experience and provide healthcare education as needed.
How You’ll Benefit
A caregiver in this position works rotating days/nights from 7:00AM – 7:30PM or 7:00PM – 7:30AM.
