Here, we strive for patient-centered care and comfort with our collaborative team of healthcare professionals. We are committed to serving the community and treating our patients as family.

Akron General’s 3100 Unit is a 16-bed cardiac telemetry and med/surg unit. This fast-paced unit cares for patients who require extensive ADL assistance, high-risk fall patients and patients with pneumonia, FTT, weakness, confusion, sepsis, PEG care, central lines, multiple antibiotic therapies, blood transfusions, IV push/cardiac drip titration medications and tracheostomies.  Many of these patients are transfers out of the MICU/SICU and, occasionally, neuro overflow patients. This unit has a strong focus on IV push, limited cardiac drips and chest pain testing/monitoring.
