About the Role
We are seeking an experienced NOC Network Engineer to support 24x7 network operations, incident response, infrastructure monitoring, and cloud networking services across enterprise, cloud, and hybrid environments. This role is responsible for ensuring the availability, reliability, and performance of critical network infrastructure while supporting major incidents, operational excellence initiatives, and continuous service improvements.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud networking, routing and switching, network security, observability platforms, and incident management within a global enterprise environment supporting business-critical platforms across multiple regions and time zones.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively monitor enterprise and cloud network environments using Splunk, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Grafana, SolarWinds, and other monitoring platforms.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex network incidents involving routing, DNS, connectivity, VPNs, firewalls, load balancers, and cloud networking services.
Act as an escalation point for P1/P2 incidents and participate in Major Incident Management (MIM) bridge calls.
Drive incident investigation, root cause identification, remediation, and validation through full-service restoration.
Manage AWS networking services including VPCs, Route Tables, Transit Gateways, Direct Connect, Security Groups, Route 53, and Load Balancers.
Support Azure networking services including VNets, NSGs, VPN Gateway, Azure Firewall, ExpressRoute, and Load Balancers.
Troubleshoot hybrid connectivity issues across cloud, on-premises, and third-party environments.
Operate and support network security controls including firewalls, WAFs, VPNs, and network access controls.
Execute network changes following approved SOPs, change management processes, and operational procedures.
Maintain accurate incident updates, escalations, and documentation in ServiceNow or equivalent ITSM platforms.
Drive monitoring improvements through alert tuning, dashboard optimization, and operational excellence initiatives.
Participate in RCA reviews, Problem Management, and continuous improvement activities.
Collaborate with Cloud Engineering, Security, Infrastructure, Operations Centre, and Incident Management teams to ensure service reliability.
Support follow-the-sun operations through structured shift handovers and knowledge-sharing practices.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in Network Operations, NOC, Infrastructure Operations, or Cloud Operations environments.
3+ years of hands-on experience supporting AWS and/or Azure cloud networking services.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, networking fundamentals, routing, and switching technologies.
Experience with BGP, OSPF, routing protocols, and enterprise network troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience with AWS VPC, Azure VNet, hybrid cloud networking, VPNs, and load balancing technologies.
Experience supporting firewalls, WAFs, network security controls, and access management solutions.
Hands-on experience with Splunk and enterprise monitoring platforms.
Experience managing and resolving P1/P2 incidents in a 24x7 operational environment.
Experience troubleshooting network issues beyond monitoring, including root cause analysis and remediation activities.
Experience supporting global customers or platforms across multiple time zones.
Knowledge of ITIL processes including Incident, Change, and Problem Management.
Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, or equivalent ITSM platforms.
Strong communication, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work in a 24x7 rotational shift model.
Preferred Qualifications
AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty, CCNP, or equivalent networking certifications.
Experience with Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, and network automation tools.
Experience with Python, PowerShell, Ansible, or similar scripting technologies.
Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace, New Relic, AppDynamics, or Site24x7.
Understanding Kubernetes (EKS) networking and cloud-native networking concepts.
Knowledge of Git, CI/CD concepts, and cloud infrastructure deployment practices.
Understanding IAM, cloud security monitoring, vulnerability management, and security incident response.
Experience in Healthcare Technology environments.
HIPAA awareness and compliance knowledge.
ITIL Foundation Certification.
