We are looking for a NPI Quality Engineer.
What will you do?
The NPI Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of new products during their introduction phase. This role involves collaboration with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to implement robust quality assurance practices that meet regulatory and customer requirements.
How will you do it?
- Guide cross-functional teams during the new product introduction phase, ensuring adherence to quality standards and clear accountability for outcomes.
- Develop and implement quality plans and controls that prioritize critical product features, reducing obstacles and ensuring seamless integration into production.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by utilizing feedback, conducting root cause analyses, and implementing corrective actions effectively.
- Collaborate with diverse teams to share insights and develop solutions that enhance product reliability and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor key performance indicators to evaluate the success of new product introductions and suggest improvements as necessary.
- Support the validation of manufacturing processes and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in product audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential issues early in the development cycle.
What are we looking for?
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Proven expertise in quality engineering tools (FMEA, SPC, MSA) and methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred:
- Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) processes.
- Certification in Six Sigma or Lean methodologies.
- Familiarity with global quality standards and regulatory compliance.
