GiveCampus is the world's leading fundraising platform for non-profit educational institutions. Trusted by millions of donors and 1,300+ colleges, universities, and K-12 schools, our mission is to help advance the quality, the affordability, and the accessibility of education. At our current pace, we will facilitate $100 billion in charitable giving over the next decade–enough money to send more than 1 million students to college, tuition-free.
GiveCampus is backed by leading investors including Y Combinator, but we’re also practitioners of Sustainable Growth: we’ve made the Inc. 5000 list of America's fastest-growing private companies each of the last five years and we’ve been profitable nine of the last 10. In 2025, we celebrated a $140 million growth investment that included a major liquidity event for GiveCampus employees–the second in less than three years.
Our purpose-driven team of 130+ is located in 30+ states across the US: team members work from anywhere they choose. We have a beautiful 12,000sf office in Washington, DC that is available for people to use whenever they want, and we regularly organize team meet-ups, visit partner institutions, and host retreats in various locations.
While we operate at meaningful scale, we’re still small relative to the commercial and social good opportunities in front of us. Every GiveCampus employee plays a meaningful role in shaping what comes next, and we're growing the team in support of our ambitious plans–including a $100 million investment in AI product development. If you believe in the transformative power of education and want to join a fast-growing, mission-driven company, you’ll fit right in.
Location: This is a remote-first role based in the U.S. While we embrace flexible, distributed work, we also value in-person connection. Team members are expected to attend multiple company-wide and team-specific onsites throughout the year.
GiveCampus is looking for an Onboarding Specialist to speed up onboarding for a cohort of schools, with a primary focus on independent schools. You’ll deliver a smooth, efficient, partner-centric experience that drives faster time-to-value, team efficiency, and long-term partner success. Most of your partners will be independent schools. From time to time, to keep your book full, you may also onboard schools from our higher education segment.
Responsibilities will include:
Own the Onboarding Process: Serve as the main point of contact for partners, primarily independent schools, during onboarding. Guide them through implementation, timelines, and platform adoption, then thoughtfully hand them off to their Partner Success Manager.
Accelerate Time-to-Value: Streamline onboarding workflows to shorten implementation timelines and help partners see value from GiveCampus faster. Work closely with Product to identify and prioritize product enhancements that would improve the onboarding experience and time-to-value.
Create Repeatable Playbooks: Develop scalable processes, onboarding documentation, templates, and best practices built around the needs of independent schools. Adapt them for higher education partners as needed to make onboarding and the Partner Success team more efficient.
Ensure Alignment Across Teams: As part of the Partner Success team, collaborate with Success Operations, Sales, Product, and Partner Operations to ensure smooth handoffs, set clear expectations, and address partner needs proactively.
Deliver a Best-in-Class Experience: Engage actively with partners to solve challenges, provide tailored guidance, and build trusted relationships during the critical onboarding phase. Measure their satisfaction and keep raising it over time. You should understand the unique rhythms of independent school advancement teams, including small staffs, a mix of parent and alumni donors, and the school calendar.
Measure and Improve Success: Track key onboarding metrics, gather partner feedback, and recommend improvements that enhance the onboarding experience and drive partner satisfaction.
On-site Partner Engagement: Pioneer in-person touchpoints in the onboarding experience. This is a new part of our approach, meant to deepen partner relationships and accelerate time-to-value. Every school you onboard, whether an independent school or a higher education institution, should get at least one visit from you during its onboarding period.
What we are looking for:
Independent School Experience: Experience working with independent schools, whether in advancement, school operations, or as a vendor or partner to independent schools. Because independent schools will make up most of your work, this is strongly preferred. Experience with higher education is a plus.
Software Implementation Expertise: Experience implementing software solutions for customers in a SaaS environment.
Proficiency with Onboarding Tools: Familiarity with partner onboarding tools (e.g., Vitally, Monday.com, Smartsheet) or CRMs like Salesforce. Familiarity with systems common in independent schools, such as Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT or Veracross, is a plus.
Technical Aptitude: Strong technical skills, including comfort navigating integrations and APIs and troubleshooting implementation issues.
Partner-Centric Mindset: A passion for delivering an exceptional partner experience through clear communication, empathy, and proactive problem-solving that helps partners reach their goals.
Process Builder Experience and Mentality: Experience building systems from the ground up. That includes developing, documenting, and refining workflows to create sustainable, scalable solutions, and building onboarding playbooks, knowledge bases, or training materials for scaled implementations.
Adaptability and Experimentation: The ability to embrace ambiguity, pilot new processes, and iterate quickly, consistently raising the standard for what onboarding can achieve.
Process Optimization: A proven ability to spot inefficiencies, put repeatable solutions in place, and scale processes across teams to drive measurable impact.
Project Management Expertise: The ability to manage onboarding projects with structured processes, clear timelines, and measurable milestones, while keeping a sense of urgency to deliver results faster.
Ownership and Accountability: A track record of taking full ownership of outcomes, setting a high bar for performance, and delivering on commitments with precision and excellence.
Bias for Action: A fast-paced, results-driven approach that puts action ahead of perfection, with a relentless focus on accelerating time-to-value for partners.
High Expectations and High Standards: A commitment to excellence in every detail, from partner communications to onboarding timelines, and a mindset of continuous improvement.
Big Ambition: An eagerness to push boundaries, reach for more, and build a first-of-its-kind onboarding function that sets new benchmarks for success.
Fewer People, Bigger Impact: The ability to drive results both independently and collaboratively within a lean, high-performing team.
Bonus points:
Direct experience in independent school advancement or development, or exposure to EdTech or fundraising workflows across independent schools, K-12, and higher education.
