Job Description:
As the Operations Advanced Quality Engineer, you will be a champion for implementing quality planning methodologies for cross-drive transmission development projects. You'll be central part in ensuring the smooth and efficient launch of high-quality Allison cross-drive transmissions.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field
Preferred:
Six Sigma Green Belt or Higher
Shainin Red X Apprentice or Higher
Certified Quality Engineer.
Experience:
Required:
3+ years of experience in quality planning or a related field
Proven experience applying AIAG best practices for quality control.
Experience with integrated management systems (IATF 16949, ISO9001)
Preferred
Experience with transmission components, functionality, and common failure modes.
Scope Factors:
Requires general understanding of broad concepts related to Master Production Scheduling. Will team/partner with other Master Schedulers to develop skills and experience.
No direct management responsibilities
Frequently interacts with direct manager and direct team members. Occasionally interacts with peers within broader function or across functions.
Applies experience and skills to complete assigned work within own area of expertise.
Builds knowledge of the organization, processes, and customers.
Requires knowledge and experience in own discipline/ still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills.
