Full Time, On-Site
Working Pattern: Friday–Tuesday
St. Margaret’s, Co.Dublin, K67 P7E5
About the Role
As an Operations Manager for HelloFresh Ireland, you will work directly with our Senior Operations Manager to oversee, manage, and optimise our Third-Party Logistics (3PL) fulfilment partner. Unlike direct operational management models where you manage shift teams on the floor, this role focuses on driving high-level operational performance, managing key metrics, and influencing our 3PL partner to execute best-in-class processes.
We are looking for a results-driven, relationship-builder and collaborative leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for building a strong, trust-based relationship with our 3PL partner, establishing accountability, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring that our customers receive perfect boxes every time.
What You Will Be Doing
3PL Oversight & Performance Management
- Monitor, analyse, and manage site KPIs, including SLA compliance, throughput, cost per box, and production errors.
- Conduct performance reviews with the 3PL management team to review metrics, address operational bottlenecks, and track corrective actions.
Relationship Building & Influence
- Establish strong, collaborative relationships with 3PL leadership to align operational priorities and drive process changes.
- Serve as the main bridge between HelloFresh central teams, including Supply Chain, Tech, and FSQA, and the 3PL management team.
Quality & Standards Governance
- Oversee 3PL adherence to HelloFresh food safety, quality, and workplace safety standards through site audits and checks.
- Ensure effective root-cause analysis and sustainable resolution for any quality or service failures.
Continuous Improvement & Cost Efficiency
- Partner with the 3PL to identify efficiency opportunities, optimise workflows, and apply Lean principles.
- Lead initiatives aimed at waste reduction, labour optimisation, and peak-season scaling.
Who You Are
Essential Experience & Skills
- Vendor/3PL Management Experience: Proven track record in logistics, fulfilment, or supply chain management, specifically managing external 3PL partners or suppliers.
- Relationship & Stakeholder Management: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to negotiate, influence key stakeholders, and build collaborative supplier relationships.
- Metric & Data-Driven: Strong analytical mindset with experience managing SLAs/KPIs, conducting root-cause analysis, and leveraging data to drive business decisions.
- Operational Insight: Solid understanding of warehouse operations, fulfilment processes, and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Influence without Direct Authority: Ability to drive change, accountability, and operational excellence in a partner-managed environment where you do not directly manage the floor staff.
- Adaptability & Resilience: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a flexible, solution-oriented approach.
Advantageous Qualifications & Experience
- Data analytics proficiency, e.g. SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or advanced Excel.
- Practical experience or certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Background or qualifications in FMCG, fresh food fulfilment, or food safety standards.
What you will get in return:
- 70% off HelloFresh + free shipping
- Company Pension (matched 1:1 contributions up to 5%)
- Health insurance
- Annual Gym membership or Wellness benefit
- Membership to global leading mindfulness App - Headspace
- Work from home allowance of up to €300
- For every year you are part of the team, you will earn one extra day off to celebrate your anniversary (up to 3 additional days)
To be considered for this role, you’ll need to have the independent right to work in Ireland, as we're unfortunately unable to provide sponsorship at this time.
