We're looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to bridge the technical gap between development needs and a secure, scalable infrastructure — while addressing current bottlenecks in execution capacity, code reviews, and approvals.
With a product-focused mindset, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining the underlying hardware and software layer that our engineers and scientists use daily, prioritizing collaboration and a deep understanding of production systems.
As the company continues to grow, expanding the platform team is crucial to speed up our development processes, allowing all the teams to focus on their core tasks.
Help define the team's vision and goals, actively planning the direction of the infrastructure team in collaboration with the CTO.
Contribute execution and review capacity by writing code, performing design doc and code reviews, and significantly contributing to the execution of platform projects.
Develop internal products for all teams to enable them to work autonomously.
Drive architectural evolution by identifying and solving critical challenges to improve system performance and scalability.
Support every team, helping to address their infrastructure needs and improve their productivity.
Large-scale production systems: Proven track record of managing and maintaining high-traffic, mission-critical production systems, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks to ensure stability and reliability.
Cloud architecture and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC): Deep proficiency in Kubernetes, AWS, and Terraform.
Security-first mindset: Strong understanding of security best practices, with experience in penetration testing, credential management, and threat modeling.
CI/CD expertise: Solid grasp of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery principles and the ability to implement pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
Problem-solving ability: A proactive approach to autonomous problem-solving, with a strong sense of ownership for code in production.
Deep knowledge of engineering and infrastructure: Comprehensive understanding of software engineering principles and the ability to design and maintain scalable infrastructure solutions.
Programming language experience with Golang, Java, or Python.
Rigorous code review practices — ensuring quality, maintainability, and security.
Experience in a product company or startup environment.
Commitment to the long-term growth and evolution of the team and company.
