Tinuiti is the largest independent full-funnel marketing agency in the U.S. across the media that matters most, with $4 billion in digital media under management and more than 1,200 employees. Built for marketers who demand growth and accountability, Tinuiti unites media and measurement under one roof to eliminate waste—the biggest growth killer of all—and scale what works. Its proprietary technology, Bliss Point by Tinuiti, reveals the truth around growth and waste, and how to capitalize on it. With expert teams across Commerce, Search, Social, TV & Audio, and more, Tinuiti delivers measurable results with brutal simplicity: Love Growth. Hate Waste.
Research shows that while men apply to jobs when they meet an average of 60% of the criteria, women and other marginalized folks tend to only apply when they check every box. So if you think you qualify, but don't necessarily meet every single point on the job description, please still get in touch.
As a Paid Social Senior Strategist, you will lead full‑funnel Paid Social strategy and day‑to‑day performance (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest Performance+, Snapchat, Reddit; LinkedIn/X as relevant) to grow new customers, revenue, and LTV—while keeping efficiency on track. You’ll turn data and creative learnings into clear decisions, run smart innovations, and scale winning ideas. You’ll use automation and Bliss Point insights to focus spend where it works best, and you’ll partner closely with Creative, Analytics, Product/Bliss Point, and Client Leadership in your Pod. You’ll also mentor Specialist and Senior Specialist teammates and turn best practices into repeatable playbooks.
Key responsibilities
Client‑Centric
Turn executive business goals into a growth‑focused Paid Social plan across prospecting, retargeting, and loyalty; set expectations, offer clear options/trade‑offs, and secure alignment.
Lead QBR stories that connect media to business impact (revenue, CAC, LTV) and handle high‑stakes adjustments with trust and transparency.
The Tinuiti Way
Pair deep Paid Social craft (creative, audience, signal quality) with growing multi‑channel understanding (Search, Commerce, CRM, Creative); teach clients and teammates and codify reusable playbooks.
Connect the dots across channels for clients: explain how Social works with Search, Commerce/Retail Media, Lifecycle, TV/Audio, and Creative; propose simple, integrated plans (who does what, when, and why) and a measurement approach to prove combined lift (MMM/lift where feasible; clear proxy reads otherwise).
Product‑Led
Orchestrate platform features and automation to unlock growth (e.g., Meta Advantage+/value optimization/CAPI, TikTok Smart Performance, Pinterest Performance+); pilot safely, measure, then scale.
Apply Bliss Point insights (Forecasting, Always‑On Incrementality, Creative Insights, Brand Equity) to guide budgets, innovations, and creative/audience bets; provide structured feedback to improve tools.
Data & Measurement‑Driven
Design sound lift/holdout tests when feasible (or strong powered A/Bs), define success thresholds up front, and maintain a steady read cadence; forecast expected impact and risk.
Keep signals healthy and reliable (pixel/CAPI, event mapping/priorities, UTMs/GA4); explain data caveats when recommending changes and reallocation.
Owner Mindset
Think and act like an owner: spot recurring waste across accounts, fix the root cause, and set simple standards the team can keep.
Raise the bar, together: coach reliable routines (prep, review, follow‑through), share before/after results, and turn wins into easy-to-use playbooks.
Ways of working and values
Greatness attracts Greatness: Operate at a high craft standard, seek feedback, and embrace technology/AI.
Clients grow, we grow: Lead with innovation, precision, and proof—anchored to business outcomes.
Culture of ownership: Act with speed, eliminate waste, and hold yourself accountable end‑to‑end.
Professional & Technical Qualifications
Experience: 7+ years managing Paid Social at scale across Meta and TikTok; experience with Pinterest, Snapchat, Reddit, LinkedIn, or X is a plus.
Hands‑on with: Meta Advantage+/value optimization/CAPI; TikTok Smart Performance; Pinterest Performance+; creative testing frameworks; audience design/signals; basic catalog/DPA for social commerce.
Technical: Comfortable with GA4 and platform analytics; can design tests, define success, forecast outcomes, and connect media to revenue, CAC, and LTV.
Communication and leadership: Executive‑ready storytelling, expectation setting, and conflict resolution; demonstrated mentorship of P2–P3 talent.
KPIs
Growth: Increase qualified reach, new‑customer acquisition, revenue, and LTV from Paid Social.
Creative: Faster “innovation” cycles with a higher creative win rate; reduce fatigue.
Audience and signal: Expand high‑intent audiences; improve pixel/CAPI/event health; fewer “limited learning” cases.
Innovation cadence: Plan and adopt a steady flow of practical innovations (creative, audience, bidding, format); record decisions and learnings.
Product/AI adoption: Pilot and scale automation and Bliss Point–guided allocations with proven, incremental impact.
Efficiency (guardrail): Hold or improve CAC/ROAS while growing profitable volume.
