Partner Support Specialist

Human Interest is on a mission to ensure that people in all lines of work have access to retirement benefits.

More than half of all working Americans are not saving enough for their future. Too often, it’s because they are employed by a company that doesn’t offer a retirement plan. Human Interest is changing that by making it affordable and accessible for small and medium-sized businesses to offer employees a path to financial independence through retirement savings.

We’re a high-growth fintech company changing the retirement industry. We are backed by a number of investors. This includes funding from Marshall Wace and Baillie Gifford, as well as top investors such as BlackRock, TPG (The Rise Fund), SoftBank, Glynn Capital, NewView Capital, USVP, Wing, Uncork, and more.

About the role

We’re looking for a fast, creative, forward-thinking professional who has a strong background in retention. You’re the right fit for this role if you are comfortable with figuring things out as you go, defaulting to action, and adapting to additional responsibilities. You’ll have a proven record of achieving your goals and the goals of your team.

What you get to do every day

• Provide comprehensive, end-to-end support to our key partners, acting as a relationship manager. Employ proactive and reactive measures to ensure a "white glove" experience for our most valued payroll partners.
• Serve as the primary point of contact within Human Interest for all payroll and CPA partners, providing general reactive support and handling escalations.
• Act as a liaison between internal teams to facilitate the development and implementation of solutions, and ensure these resolutions are communicated effectively to partners.
• Develop, propose, and implement solutions tailored to partner needs to increase retention and satisfaction.
• Assist with maintaining and further developing the partner support teams' standard operating procedures documentation.
• Communicate any blockers or potential risks to leadership as soon as they arise to mitigate potential risks to reputation.
• Always be ready to share your wins and what you're working on to show leadership the impact you're making and help shape what we do next.

What you bring to the role

• 3+ years of experience working in a Partnership, Sales, and/or business development environment
• 3+ years of experience with innovative strategic partnerships for consumer-facing, web services, and SAAS products
• Demonstrated capacity to anticipate partner needs, identify challenges proactively, and adapt to a fast-paced, evolving environment, all while sustaining a positive attitude.
• You don't wait for others to act on your behalf; you proactively identify and resolve potential issues before they escalate.
• Experience in developing and leveraging strategic insights to foster and/or improve business relationships
• Ability to translate complex business problems into easy-to-understand concepts for external stakeholders
• Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills using tools such as Google Docs, Google Slides, Google Sheets, and/or equivalent Microsoft products
• Experience facilitating meetings, handling external partner escalations, and conducting proactive service outreach
• Experience using a CRM platform (preferably Salesforce) to forecast sales and draw insights from service performance metrics
• Strong understanding of the Human Interest partner process, demands and needs for continued success
