Hybrid
We currently have two full-time opportunities available within the team:
Accurate pay, clear answers, smarter processes – payroll that people can rely on.
As a Payroll Shared Services Officer, you will manage end-to-end payroll administration in a high-complexity environment across the Macquarie University Group: processing changes to salary, allowances and deductions, administering leave entitlements, superannuation and salary packaging, and answering the day-to-day payroll questions that arrive from across the University Group. You will be a trusted first point of contact for payroll, so professionalism, confidence and strong customer communication are essential alongside technical accuracy.
This is also a role with room to improve how things are done. You will help review workflows, tidy up data inconsistencies across our HR systems, contribute to standard operating procedures and take part in testing system upgrades. If you enjoy methodical work, like getting to the bottom of a query, and want your attention to detail to be genuinely valued, we would like to hear from you.
