Dreamerlabs is building a new category of entertainment: interactive experiences powered by AI characters, chat, voice, image and video, shaped in real time around each person.
Entertainment has spent decades becoming more personalised, from TV to YouTube to TikTok. AI unlocks a second axis, interactivity, where the story responds to you. That is what we’re building, and we’re doing it at serious scale.
In under two years, we have built one of the most-visited AI entertainment products in the world:
20 million monthly visitors
A top 1,000 website globally
250 billion tokens processed every day
1.2 million images and videos generated every day
350+ model requests per second, served from our own GPU fleet
We’ve done it profitable and bootstrapped, and now we are scaling our team.
Our main product is an AI roleplay platform for adults, and paid acquisition on adult ad networks is one of our most important growth channels.
This role involves owning paid acquisition from day one: the budget, the bidding, the targeting, the network relationships and the number at the bottom of the spreadsheet.
This is performance marketing without the black box. No algorithm learns on your behalf. Within your targeting, the highest bid wins the placement. Each network spans tens of thousands of sites and zones, so the skill is knowing where to bid, who’s worth paying for, what to show them and when to pull back. If you get it right, you can scale faster than almost anywhere else.
You will own:
Scaling our core networks. Take over a large, live budget across our three main networks and grow it efficiently. You decide which zones, segments and geos get the next dollar, and which ones get cut.
Launching new networks. Find, test and scale the next tier of networks. There’s a long tail of large networks and opening each one is a growth lever in its own right.
Targeting and audience strategy. Decide how broad or narrow to go, from global category plays down to a single country or region. Define the personas and brief our creative lead on who we’re targeting and why.
Network relationships. Own our relationships with the networks, and use them to negotiate bespoke deals, better inventory and special treatment.
Your own tooling. Every network has a full API, and we expect you to work through it rather than their dashboards. Build the reporting, automation and AI workflows that let you manage thousands of placements and keep your campaign structure clean.
You’ve owned serious paid acquisition budgets and scaled them without letting CAC blow out. You want a problem with more levers, not fewer.
Proven ability to scale. You have several years in performance marketing with real budget ownership. You can point to at least one clear example where you materially increased spend while keeping CAC sustainable.
You can buy without the black box. You understand how media buying works when no algorithm is doing it for you. Experience with programmatic, DSPs, native, display or affiliate networks is a big plus. If you’ve only run Google and Meta, you’ll need to show you can set targeting and bids from first principles.
Hands-on, every day. You’re in the campaigns daily, adjusting bids, cutting losers and chasing winners.
Detail and altitude. You can manage thousands of placements precisely, then step back and see where the whole portfolio should go next.
Taste with numbers. You know which metrics matter and you have instinct for where money is made and lost.
An experimental streak. You find new opportunities by testing, and you have the conviction to scale what works quickly.
AI-first. AI tools are how you work. You use them to analyse data, manage campaigns and build your own tools.
Comfort with the category. Our ads run on adult sites, and you’re pragmatic and professional about that.
You don’t need adult advertising experience. Basic SQL or some coding experience is a big plus for working with the network APIs and building your own tools, even if most of your building is done with AI coding tools.
We work together in person in North Sydney, because things change fast and the best decisions happen in the room. We prioritise ruthlessly, test ideas in a day rather than planning them for weeks, and keep meetings and approvals to a minimum.
We think of ourselves as a competitive sports team with a real shot at winning. That means a high-intensity environment, and it’s built for people who want exactly that.
Above-market pay. We reward exceptional people with above-market salaries and meaningful equity.
Fast reward for impact. Compensation is reviewed every six months, with raises and bonuses tied to what you deliver, not your title.
Autonomy from day one. A large budget, a dedicated creative lead and established network relationships. You bring the strategy.
Growth without management. Your scope, influence and pay can keep growing while you stay hands-on.
Industry conferences in Europe. You’ll represent us at the major events where the networks and buyers meet.
All meals covered. Breakfast, lunch and dinner every day, plus stocked fridges.
A company card and unlimited workspace budget. For food, coffee, software, AI tools, equipment and the setup you need to do your best work.
A great office. It’s dog-friendly, in North Sydney, with a big balcony for working outdoors.
Optional team socials. Gym sessions, running, swimming, escape rooms and more.
Visa sponsorship and relocation support. If required.
