Partner with the best
As a PPS Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering project engineering services while ensuring full compliance with Global Engineering standards. You will work closely with Operations Managers, Project Managers, Sales teams, Applications Engineering, and Field Engineers to support project execution, resource planning, operational excellence, and business growth.
As a PPS Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Delivering engineering activities and PPS-related procedures in accordance with Baker Hughes global engineering standards, customer requirements, and project objectives.
Supporting project managers and acting as a technical focal point for small and medium-sized projects throughout planning and execution phases.
Developing high-quality engineering documentation, procedures, and technical deliverables for process and pipeline service projects.
Collaborating with Sales and Commercial teams to develop profitable service offerings and identify opportunities for additional customer value and revenue growth.
Providing technical guidance to Field Engineers and supporting engineering competency development through mentoring, coaching, and training initiatives.
Working closely with Applications Engineering, Operations, and Project Management teams to ensure timely project execution, resource forecasting, and workload balancing.
Driving continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and implementing best practices, supporting operational efficiency, and contributing technical input to commercial and capital investment decisions.
Ensuring compliance with Baker Hughes policies, HSE requirements, quality standards, competency programs, and operational procedures while participating in on-call support and operational coverage activities as required.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role, you will:
Have a High School Diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline is preferred.
Demonstrate the ability to execute engineering scopes associated with Process and Pipeline Services (PPS) operations.
Have a strong understanding of process and pipeline operations, customer requirements, engineering procedures, and operational workflows.
Possess experience working with customers, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams in industrial, oil and gas, or related environments.
Have proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Bluebeam, Centrum, and other engineering tools; Oracle experience is considered advantageous.
Demonstrate strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Hold valid UKNS Offshore Survival, Offshore Medical certification, and any other required industry training where applicable.
Be eligible to work in the United Kingdom with the ability to meet work authorization requirements without future sponsorship.
