Accessory Ecosystem is critical to deploying, integrating, and operating Echodyne’s advanced radar products. Echodyne is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to join our Analog/Mixed-Signal (AMS) Engineering team and lead the electrical architecture, development, and lifecycle support of our accessory portfolio.
In this role, you will translate product and system needs into reliable, manufacturable electrical solutions spanning power distribution, communications and networking, embedded computing, interconnects, junction boxes, electrical protection, and related integration hardware. Working with cross-functional teams and external partners, you will lead these solutions across the product lifecycle, from concept and architecture through qualification, production release, and sustaining support, using the appropriate combination of internal development, commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products, supplier-manufactured hardware, vendor co-development, and external design services. The ideal candidate combines broad, hands-on electrical design expertise with Principal-level technical judgment and the ability to align technical decisions across functions.
