Print Packaging Specialist - Working Student

Do you have the 1-in-a-million solution to a 1-million-egg challenge?

At Picnic, we deliver groceries to thousands of households every week. That includes selling over 1 million eggs every single week. While the vast majority arrive safe and sound, eggs remain fragile cargo, and breakage still happens too often in our supply chain. We want to crack this problem once and for all … and we need your help!

We are looking for a creative and ambitious Industrial Design (Thesis) Intern to design the egg packaging of the future. Your mission? Bring our egg damage rate down to 0%.When it comes to the solution, everything is on the table:

• Innovative materials (sustainable, recycled, or bio-based)
• Radical new geometries and structural designs
• Internal protection (custom foam, shock absorption, smart inserts)
• Supplier collaboration (working directly with our packaging partners to turn your design into a scalable product)

No idea is too crazy, if it protects the egg, we want and will  test it!

🎯 The Impact

Your thesis won't just sit on a shelf; it will have a direct, real-world impact:

• 🌱 Zero Food Waste: Preventing broken eggs means less wasted food in our supply chain.
• 😊 Delighted Customers: Ensuring every customer receives flawless eggs, every time.
