Akron General’s 7100 unit is a high acuity cardiac telemetry and med/surg unit. This fast-paced unit cares for patients who require extensive ADL assistance, high-risk fall patients and patients with pneumonia, FTT, weakness, confusion, sepsis, PEG care, central lines, multiple antibiotic therapies, blood transfusions, IV push/cardiac drip titration medications and tracheostomies. The unit typically carries 23-28 high risk fall patients. As an RN on the team, you will utilize your nursing skills to enhance the Cleveland Clinic experience and the lives of patients and their families. You will gain hands-on experience in complex medical concerns and technologies, providing an unmatched advantage within the healthcare industry.

A PRN caregiver in this position works varying days and hours. Working a minimum of 48 hours per 6-week period will be required.
