Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Process engineer located in Guadalajara North
The Process engineer role is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure product quality, efficiency, and safety. This role supports new product introduction (NPI), process design, tooling development, assembly line layouts, and continuous improvement initiatives while applying Lean Manufacturing principles and advanced problem-solving methodologies.
What a typical day looks like:
- Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Create and maintain process flow diagrams, PFMEA documentation, and manufacturing instructions.
- Develop and validate assembly fixtures, jigs, gauges, and other production tooling.
- Design production line layouts using AutoCAD, ensuring efficient workflow and material flow.
- Support Design for Manufacturability (DFM) activities to improve product and process performance.
- Define and control critical process parameters, particularly for fastening and intelligent screwdriver applications.
- Coordinate volumetric analysis and the development of workstations, carts, and material handling solutions.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions using structured problem-solving methodologies.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, cost reduction, and waste elimination.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain.
- Support process validation, equipment qualification, and production readiness activities.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety requirements, and customer specifications.
- Provide technical guidance and support for process improvements and personnel development.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks.
- Experience with Design for Manufacturability (DFM).
- Knowledge of intelligent fastening systems and smart screwdrivers.
- Understanding of critical variables in fastening processes.
- Experience developing and interpreting Process Flow Diagrams.
- Experience creating and maintaining PFMEA documentation.
- Experience designing and developing assembly fixtures, jigs, and gauges.
- Knowledge of production line layout design using AutoCAD.
- Experience with Fishbone (Cause-and-Effect) analysis.
Quality & Problem-Solving Tools
- PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act)

Lean Manufacturing
- Understanding of Cycle Time (CT), Lead Time (LT), and Takt Time (TT).
