Product, Brand & Media Director

As Product, Brand & Media Director, you will serve as the strategic architect and operational engine behind our growth, brand dominance, and go-to-market expansion. Reporting directly to the CMO, this high-impact position bridges visionary brand strategy with hands-on commercial and operational execution across diverse customer segments, from retail DIY and specialized trade contractors to large-scale B2B enterprise clients.

You will own the full strategic lifecycle: leading product portfolio innovation, refining complex pricing architectures, optimizing media investment portfolios, and directing integrated omnichannel campaigns. If you thrive at the intersection of data-driven strategy, operational speed, and cross-functional leadership (partnering seamlessly with Sales, Operations, R&D, and Supply Chain), this role offers the platform to drive top- and bottom-line transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business & Commercial Strategy: Achieve overall growth, profitability, and customer acquisition by leading short- and long-term product, brand, and media strategies across all distribution channels. You will analyze market trends to uncover expansion opportunities and partnering with teams—such as Data Intelligence and concessionary networks—to improve route-to-market execution.

• Product Portfolio & Innovation Management: Direct the full lifecycle of the product line by identifying opportunities for portfolio optimization, line extensions, and new tech- or sustainability-focused offerings. By collaborating with Science & Technology and Operations teams, ensure products remain relevant, and profitable from launch to eventual repositioning or retirement.

• Brand Strategy & Management: Define and protect our brand architecture, visual identity, and positioning through an understanding of consumer journeys and category dynamics. To boost brand awareness, consideration, and loyalty, oversee the production of marketing assets and guidelines while measuring brand performance to refine ongoing strategy.

• Media, Communication & Customer Engagement: Plan and implement integrated omnichannel campaigns across traditional (ATL/BTL), digital, PR, and experiential marketing channels to build consumer connections. Responsibilities include setting tailored audience segmentation strategies, managing media agency performance, and optimizing budgets to maximize campaign Return on investment.

• Pricing, Promotions and Revenue Growth: Create strategic pricing models and promotional campaigns that maximize seasonal demand while balancing profitability with market share goals. By evaluating promotional effectiveness alongside commercial and financial teams, ensure all revenue-generating activities directly align with overarching our priorities.

• Market Intelligence & Analytics: Lead the collection and analysis of market, consumer, and competitor data, translating raw insights into applicable our decisions. Establish measurements dashboards to measure overall marketing effectiveness, innovation performance, and media spend efficiency.

• Budget & Financial Management: Oversee annual marketing, media, innovation, and promotional budgets to ensure resources are deployed toward financial targets. Partner with Finance on forecasting, and reporting to maintain strict financial accountability and maximize return on marketing investments.

• Leadership & Team Development: Lead, coach, and inspire diverse teams across marketing, brand, product, and media disciplines by setting clear performance goals and promoting a creative culture. Additionally, manage strategic supplier and agency partnerships while supporting ongoing talent acquisition, coaching, and succession planning.

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of progressive experience in Marketing, Brand Management, Product Management, or Commercial Leadership, including experience leading large, multifunctional teams.

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.

• Demonstrated track record in brand building, progress, and media planning across multiple channels, customer segments, and geographic markets.

• Fluent in English

Benefits like vacation, life insurance, health insurance, retirement/pension plans, will be discussed in the interview process. Hybrid workplace. #LI-Hybrid #LI-PRT1
