知的財産（IP）部門にて、Product Consultant（プロダクトコンサルタント） を募集しています。このポジションでは、既存顧客および見込み顧客と密接に連携し、ビジネス課題やニーズを理解した上で、ClarivateのIPソリューションがどのようにその課題解決に貢献できるかをご提案いただきます。製品に関する専門知識を活かし、プレゼンテーションや製品デモを実施しながら、コンサルティング型のアドバイスを提供し、お客様が当社ソリューションの価値を最大限活用できるよう支援していただきます。4名のチームメンバーと協働し、Solution Consulting部門のSenior Managerのもとで業務を行います。顧客対応を伴うコンサルティング経験やソリューション提案経験をお持ちで、テクノロジーソリューションを顧客ニーズに結び付けることに興味をお持ちの方を歓迎します。

About You – 経験・学歴・スキル

• 学士号取得者、またはそれと同等の経験
• Salesforceを活用した導入（Implementation）またはビジネスコンサルティングの経験を2年以上お持ちの方（社内向け・顧客向けいずれも可）
• 顧客対応や営業案件への深い関与が可能なネイティブレベルの日本語力

• 知的財産（特許・商標）に関する業務知識またはコンテンツ知識

What will you be doing in this role?（主な業務内容）

• 営業およびマーケティングチームと連携し、営業案件やマーケティング活動の支援・推進を行う
• 必要に応じて外部ベンダーと協力し、ソリューションの機能や提供価値の向上を図る
• 日本語・英語を含む優れたコミュニケーション能力を活かし、社内外の関係者と円滑に連携する
• Salesforceプラットフォームの機能やIP業界の顧客ニーズを深く理解し、当社ソリューションの価値を効果的に提案する
• 顧客の目標に沿ったプリセールスプロジェクトを推進し、期待される成果を実現する
• 顧客要件に合わせたソリューション設計および提案・プレゼンテーションを実施する
• 顧客とのやり取り、要件、フィードバックを正確に記録・管理する
• プリセールス段階における主要顧客の窓口として信頼関係を構築し、効果的なコミュニケーションを行う
• 顧客のフィードバックや課題を分析し、製品改善やユーザー体験向上の提案を行う
• 製品コンサルティングサービスの戦略立案に参画し、会社方針や顧客ニーズとの整合性を確保する
• ベストプラクティスや成功事例、業務改善策をグローバルチームへ共有する
• Product ManagementやMarketingをはじめとした関連部門へ市場・顧客のフィードバックを提供する
• 競合情報を分析し、自社ソリューションの優位性を説明できるようにする
• RFI（情報提供依頼）やRFP（提案依頼書）への対応を支援する
• 顧客トライアルやPoC（概念実証）などの活動成功に貢献する

About the Team

知的財産（IP）ソリューションコンサルティングチームの一員として、営業チーム、マーケティングチーム、お客様と連携しながら、ClarivateのIPソリューションの価値を提案し、プリセールス活動を支援していただきます。チームは既存顧客および見込み顧客のビジネス課題を理解し、製品デモの実施、ソリューション提案、PoC支援などを通じて顧客の意思決定をサポートします。メンバーは製品に関する専門知識を活かしながら、市場や顧客のインサイトを収集し、社内の各部門と協力してIPビジネスの継続的な成長と成功に貢献しています。

Hours of Work

フルタイムポジションです。主にご自身のタイムゾーンにおける標準営業時間内で勤務いただきますが、必要に応じてグローバルチームとの連携のため勤務時間を柔軟に調整していただく場合があります。

We are looking for a Product Consultant to join our Intellectual Property (IP) team in Tokyo. In this role, you will work closely with current and prospective customers to understand their business needs and demonstrate how Clarivate’s IP solutions can help address their challenges. Leveraging your product expertise, you will deliver impactful presentations and product demonstrations, provide trusted consultative guidance, and help customers realize the full value of our solutions. You will collaborate with a team of four professionals and report to the Senior Manager, Solution Consulting. We would love to speak with you if you have experience in customer-facing consulting, solution presentations, and aligning technology solutions to customer needs.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
• 2 years (or more) of experience in implementation or business consulting based on Salesforce (either in-house or to client).
• Native Japanese level to handle the client facing works and deep involvement in the sales cases.

• Experience using English in business.
• Knowledge of IP (Patent or Trademark) operations or contents.

What will you be doing in this role?

• Work closely with sales and marketing team, to support and lead the sales cases and marketing activities.
• Work with external vendors as needed, to expand or improve comprehensiveness of our solutions.
• Good interpersonal communication skills and ability (incl. English & Japanese) to collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Understand deeply product capability of Salesforce platform and customer needs of IP, effectively presenting the value proposition of our solutions.
• Deliver pre-sales projects, ensuring alignment with customer objectives and deliver desired outcomes.
• Design and present product solutions that meet customer requirements and demonstrate the value of our solution to that customer/prospect.
• Document and maintain accurate records of client interactions, requirements and feedback. 
• Serve as a primary point of contact for key customer accounts during the pre-sales stage, building strong relationships and ensuring effective communication. 
• Analyze customer feedback and challenges to recommend opportunities for product enhancements that drive value and improve user experience. 
• Participate in the strategic planning of product consulting services, ensuring alignment with company objectives and customer needs.
• Identify, develop, and share best practices, case studies, and process improvements across the global team.
• Provide market and customer feedback to Product Management, Marketing, and other cross-functional partners.
• Review competitive intelligence to understand and be able to defend our solutions and capabilities against competitive offerings.
• Contribute to request for information and proposal (RFI/RFP) responses.
• Contribute to successful customer trials and proof of concepts and similar engagements.

About the Team  

As part of the Intellectual Property (IP) Solution Consulting team, this role is responsible for partnering with sales, marketing, and customers to demonstrate the value of Clarivate’s IP solutions and support successful pre-sales engagements. The team works closely with current and prospective customers to understand their business needs, deliver product demonstrations, design solution recommendations, and support proof-of-concept activities. Team members serve as trusted advisors by leveraging deep product expertise, gathering market and customer insights, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, and contributing to the continued growth and success of Clarivate’s IP business.

Hours of Work 

This is a full-time position, primarily working core business hours in your time zone, with flexibility to adjust to various global time zones as needed.
