At Warner Music Group, we’re a global collective of music makers and music lovers, tech innovators and inspired entrepreneurs, game-changing creatives and passionate team members. Here, we turn dreams into stardom and audiences into fans. We are guided by three core values that underpin everything we do across all our diverse businesses:
• Curiosity: We do our best work when we’re immersing ourselves in culture and breaking through barriers. Curiosity is the driving force behind creativity and ingenuity. It fuels innovation, and innovation is the key to our future.
• Collaboration: Making music and bringing it to the world is all about the power of originality amplified by teamwork. A great idea, like a great song, travels globally. We ignite passions and build connections across our diverse community of artists, songwriters, partners, and fans.
• Commitment: We pursue excellence for our team and our talent. Everything in music starts with a leap into the unknown, and we’re committed to keeping the faith, acting with integrity, and delivering on our promises.
Technology is one of the most important parts of our business. Whether it’s supporting our songwriters, ensuring we provide the right royalty data to global partners, or helping our creative teams use the latest AI tools to discover new talent—technology plays an invaluable role in our success. Product Managers help turn vision into reality. Check out first-hand accounts from the WMG engineering, product, design, infrastructure and data teams in our blog!
WMG is home to a wide range of artists, musicians, and songwriters that fuel our success. That is why we are committed to creating a work environment that actively values, appreciates, and respects everyone. We encourage applications from people with a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences.
Consider a career at WMG and get the best of both worlds – an innovative global music company that retains the creative spirit of a nimble independent.
A little bit about our team
At Warner Chappell Music (WCM), we are building the future of music publishing technology. As a Product Manager on the WCM Tech team, you will take ownership of two of our core, high-impact publishing platforms: Arrow and Tango.
Your Role
In this role, you will lead the evolution of our Demo Marketplace (ARROW)—a cutting-edge application that gives internal teams, A&R executives, and external partners direct streaming access to exclusive, unreleased song demos from our world-class roster of songwriters. You will also contribute to our core copyright and royalty engine - Tango, driving the foundational technology behind song metadata, rights management, and royalty processing. Working alongside Engineering, UX, and Technical Program Management teams, you will turn complex cross-functional data into seamless digital experiences.
Here you'll get to:
-
Drive Platform Roadmaps: Own roadmaps for ARROW (increase publishing revenue with our demo marketplace mobile app) and Tango (core publishing backend infrastructure).
-
Lead Product Discovery & Delivery: Serve as the primary point of contact for Engineering, Design/UX, and Technical Program Managers, managing feature delivery from concept to launch.
-
Navigate Complex Data Dependencies: Partner with Recorded Music and Music Publishing engineering groups to leverage global rights, repertoire, and audio asset datasets.
-
Partner with Key Stakeholders: Align business leaders and operational teams, including Artists & Repertoire (A&R) teams focused on talent discovery and pitch workflows, as well as Global Copyright Administration teams responsible for international song registrations, legal ownership tracking, and global royalty collections.
Who you are:
-
Experienced Product Leader: You bring 4–6 years of Product Management experience with a track record of shipping scalable B2B or consumer-facing mobile and web platforms.
-
Domain & Tech Knowledge: You have familiarity with media, music publishing, or digital rights management, allowing you to quickly understand complex music business workflows.
-
Systems Thinker: You take holistic ownership of systems and end-to-end user journeys rather than just isolated feature requests.
-
Collaborator & Communicator: You excel at building trust across cross-functional engineering, executive, and creative stakeholder teams.
