Product manager for (Instant) Consumer Lending

Do you want to make the consumer loan application process easier and smarter for both customers and the bank using data? As a Customer Journey Expert within Consumer Lending, you will work on impactful lending journeys that balance customer experience, commercial growth and regulatory requirements. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape future lending propositions while working in a data-driven environment.

The team

You will join the Origination / Apply team within Consumer Lending. The team consists of Customer Journey Experts, IT developers, data analysts and scientists, and other stakeholders working closely together to realise ING’s strategic lending ambitions. We work on complex, high-impact journeys where collaboration, experimentation and learning are key.

Roles and responsibilities

As a Customer Journey Expert, you will take ownership of key parts of the Consumer Lending application journey and contribute to continuous improvement using data and insights. You will:

• Develop and improve parts of the Consumer Lending application process
• Help design and launch the Consumer Lending offering for two Caribbean Netherlands islands
• Improve income and expense detection to support our instant lending strategy
• Analyse data to identify performance improvements and growth opportunities
• Coordinate effectively with stakeholders across Consumer Lending and beyond
• Contribute actively to the team to achieve shared objectives

To be successful in this role, you:

• Have experience within ING, preferably as a Customer Journey Expert
• Bring strong experience as a Product Manager, Consultant or Customer Journey Expert
• Have a strong interest in data and experience working with data analyses
• Are fluent in Dutch
• Are a true team player who thinks in possibilities rather than limitations
