Product Marketer

# **Product Marketer - Paces** ### **🌎 The Opportunity** In the next 30 years, the world will energize and transform every part of the built environment to be more climate positive. But today's clean energy development process can't move fast enough to meet global goals. Paces exists to change that. Our AI based solutions accelerate power development - unlocking one of the greatest opportunities of our time: transforming how infrastructure gets built and ensuring it's built as climate positive as possible. More on how we think about power development changing [here](https://www.paces.com/post/the-one-person-billion-dollar-power-development-company)! ### **🛠️ Our Solution** Power project development is slow, manual, and fragmented. Paces fixes that. We pair agentic AI with in-house development expertise to compress the full lifecycle (site identification through interconnection and permitting) into a fraction of the typical timeline. The result is more renewable energy where it’s needed, profitable projects for the developers powering AI, and allocation of resources to the infrastructure making the greatest impact on our climate.  Our platform serves renewable energy and data center developers, real estate firms, and infrastructure operators with technology built on hundreds of proprietary data layers and unmatched expertise from our team of in-house domain experts.  ### **🧑‍🎨 Our Team** Our team consistently reports that working at Paces offers the most impactful, meaningful work of their careers.  Based in Brooklyn, New York, we’ve brought together incredible individuals with experience from technology and energy industry leaders including Meta AI, DeepMind, and Tesla, many high growth startups,TotalEnergies, Con Edison and GE. We released the [Paces Agent](https://www.paces.com/post/paces-agent-autonomous-ai-accelerated-power-development)earlier this year and have an ambitious product roadmap to deliver on our mission. The Product Marketer will have an exciting opportunity to bring together what the market needs, what we build, and how our customers and the broader community learn about it. We are looking for a Product Marketer who has owned the full lifecycle; living upstream in customer and market discovery, partnering tightly with product through the build, and owning go-to-market end to end. This is a hands-on, foundational role: you’ll define how we position a category that’s still being created and be the connective tissue across technical and go to market teams.  ### **🎯 What You'll Achieve** * Run continuous market and customer discovery (win/loss, customer interviews, competitive intelligence) and feed those insights back into product strategy and the roadmap * Own positioning and messaging as the market evolves (AI infrastructure, data centers, grid constraints) and drive consistency across all channels * Lead the launch cycle across weekly releases, starting with the cross-functional plan across sales, customer success, and revenue operations; determining tiering and automation opportunities; crafting messaging, narrative, content and sales enablement; analyzing impact, and proactively communicating to all partners * Build the enablement layer — battlecards, decks, demo narratives, objection handling —to empower sales and customer success with insight, speed, and confidence * Define and segment our buyer and user personas across data centers, utilities, developers, and energy infrastructure players * Test, measure, and learn; leverage marketing tools to tie messaging and launches to pipeline and adoption; invest in what’s working  * Partner with product from concept through GA — shaping what gets built and why, then owning the positioning and messaging that translates technical capability into customer value for developers and operators * Be a force multiplier: leverage AI tools across content, research, and campaign execution to accelerate output for internal partners and customers * Ensure Paces is seen as the defining voice in AI-powered power development through thought leadership, media, and presence at key industry moments ### **📈 Requirements** * 5+ years in product marketing, with clear ownership of the full lifecycle — discovery through launch and enablement * A track record of partnering with product as a true counterpart, providing insight and influencing roadmap rather than just receiving handoffs, at a high-growth SaaS or AI company * AI obsessed; vibe coding must be part of your workflow * Proven track record owning launches end to end and tying messaging and positioning to adoption and pipeline outcomes * Excellent communicator (written, verbal, multimedia) with experience shaping positioning and messaging across channels * Moves fast and experiments; discards what does not work and doubles down on what does * Comfortable with technical products and technical buyers; energy, infrastructure, climate, or hard-tech experience is a strong plus ### **✨ About You** * A strategic marketer who connects positioning and messaging decisions to business impact * Hands-on; willing to roll up your sleeves and execute end to end * Excited about the future of AI and building infrastructure that powers the energy transition **💰 Compensation and Benefits** * 140k-160k annual base, plus bonus * Competitive equity compensation * 401(k) matching * Health, Dental and Vision insurance * Paid company holidays & PTO * Hybrid work in the office in Williamsburg, Brooklyn \~3x per week ### **🚀 Bonus Points** * Experience marketing to renewable energy and data center developers, real estate brokerages, or infrastructure-focused buyers * Familiarity with how power projects get developed — siting, interconnection, permitting — and what slows them down * 1+ years of early-stage startup experience ☀️ **About Paces** 🛠️ If you’re a builder who wants to actively construct a more climate positive future, join us! 🗺️ We are enabling the [climate optimum use for all the world’s land](https://www.jamesmcwalter.com/post/optimum) and are thought leaders in the evolving [data center](https://offgridai.us/) and [renewables](https://www.paces.com/white-papers/pre-development-at-scale-modeling-risk-in-early-stage-solar-development) markets. 🌞 We have world class customers and are growing! 📢 We've raised $18M+ led by [Navitas Capital](https://www.navitascap.com/portfolio), [Resolute Ventures](https://resolute.vc/) and [Y Combinator](https://www.ycombinator.com/).
