A rare opportunity to take real ownership in a fast-scaling European insurtech — and shape outcomes that matter.
At Insify, we build insurance for entrepreneurs because we are entrepreneurs ourselves. We know what it’s like to build something from scratch, to take risks, and to carry responsibility that doesn’t switch off at 5 pm.
Our mission is simple but ambitious: to make business insurance 10x simpler, faster, and fairer for entrepreneurs and SMEs across Europe. No paperwork. No fine print. No legacy complexity. Just modern software, smart automation, and a relentless focus on the customer. We are a high-growth European scale-up, backed by €43M from world-class investors, on a mission to become a global leader in digital insurance for entrepreneurs and SMEs. Starting in the Netherlands, we’ve expanded into France and Germany, and we’re only accelerating from here.
At our core, we’re a tech company. We build our own insurtech platform and rely heavily on data, automation, and AI to redesign the end-to-end insurance experience: from underwriting to claims. Combined with a fully digital customer portal and strong UX, we’re turning insurance into something surprisingly simple, transparent, and fair.
We’re led by seasoned entrepreneurs who’ve built and scaled companies before, and we bring that same ambition, urgency, and ownership mindset to everything we do.
Our culture (read this carefully)
We’re not just building a company, we’re building a category leader. That comes with ambition, responsibility, and pace.
Our culture is defined by three things:
High ownership
People own problems end-to-end. If something is unclear or broken, we don’t wait — we step in and fix it.
High pace
Priorities shift, and decisions are made quickly. We value momentum and learning over perfection.
High standards
Outcomes matter more than optics. We care about results, quality, and follow-through.
At the same time, you won’t be doing this alone.
We believe great work happens through close collaboration. We work in person, challenge each other’s ideas, and expect contributions from everywhere, regardless of title or tenure. The best ideas often come from unexpected places, and we create space for them to surface.
This is a human-sized company. You’ll know the people you work with, you’ll be able to walk over to anyone to ask a question or test an idea, and you’ll be part of the day-to-day energy of building together: from whiteboard discussions to shared lunches, dogs in the office, and moments to pause and reset.
We hire smart, ambitious people who think like owners, value intellectual honesty, and are motivated by impact rather than comfort. If you enjoy challenge, responsibility, and building something meaningful with others, you’ll likely thrive here.
If you’re looking for predictability, narrow scopes, or a guaranteed 9-to-5, this likely won’t be the right fit — and that’s okay.
We’d rather be honest upfront.
About Insify
The legal infrastructure behind insurance is as broken as the products themselves. Regulations written for a different era, compliance frameworks that slow companies down instead of protecting them, and legal teams that show up at the end to say no instead of at the beginning to say here's how.
We're doing it differently.
Insify is a high-growth scale-up backed by €43M in total funding from world-class investors like Accel, Munich Re Ventures, and Formula 1 champion Nico Rosberg. In five years, we've expanded from the Netherlands into France and Germany, and we're just getting started. Our mission: become the European leader in AI-powered SME insurance.
We aren't just building a company; we're leading a revolution. Our culture is intense, high-stakes, and mission-driven. We hire smart, ambitious "owners" who possess a relentless drive to win. This is an environment for those who thrive on challenges, value intellectual honesty, and share our mindset of becoming a global category leader.
Our founding team consists of seasoned entrepreneurs who have previously built iconic businesses like HelloFresh, Bloomon, and SumUp. We bring that same bias for speed, scale, and high standards to one of the most structurally broken experiences in financial services. Together, we combine that deep fintech and e-commerce expertise with cutting-edge AI to stay ahead of the curve.
About the role
We’re on a mission to make insurance simple, human, and genuinely useful for freelancers and entrepreneurs. As our Product Marketing Manager, you’ll own how we position and communicate our products, turning complex insurance topics into clear, compelling stories that freelancers trust.
In this role, you’ll bridge product and marketing. You’ll shape positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies, helping us grow awareness beyond in-market audiences and deepen our connection with the self-employed.
What you will be doing
- Develop and refine product positioning and messaging that resonates with freelancers and SMEs
- Work hand-in-hand with growth and content to make campaigns sharper, more relevant, and more consistent
- Lead go-to-market for new products, features, and updates
- Build and maintain a clear competitive view of the market and translate it into actionable insights.
- Be the voice of the customer: bring in insights from interviews, data, and research to improve the insurance product and marketing
- Support brand and thought leadership
What you bring
- 5+ years experience in product marketing, brand strategy, or similar roles — ideally in a startup or scale-up environment, or/and with complex, financial, regulated products
- English language is a must, Dutch is a plus
- A strong writing instinct and passion for turning insights into clear, persuasive copy
- A strategic mindset with hands-on execution — you’re comfortable rolling up your sleeves
- Genuine interest in entrepreneurs and helping them thrive
This role is not for you if:
We believe clarity saves everyone time.
• You are looking for a strict 40-hour work week
• You need fully defined scopes and stable priorities to perform well
• You prefer staying high-level and avoiding hands-on execution
• You expect long ramp-up periods before taking ownership
We offer:
Competitive compensation that reflects responsibility and impact
Trust and autonomy: you’ll have real ownership and room to make decisions
Space to grow and shape your role as Insify evolves, based on your interests and strengths
A steep learning curve, with support from experienced teammates
The opportunity to share in what we’re building, with equity for eligible roles once there’s mutual conviction on fit and impact
A welcoming, central Amsterdam HQ where we work closely together: shared lunches, dogs in the office, whiteboards, and fun end-of-week drinks
An international, ambitious team that enjoys building meaningful things together
