Inside the Role
The Product Compliance Specialist plays a key role in ensuring that on-highway and nonroad heavy-duty engines and aftertreatment systems meet both external regulatory requirements and internal standards. The main purpose of this role is to maintain oversight of system hardware and software changes, from a regulatory compliance viewpoint, to ensure that all relevant emissions, GHG, and OBD regulations continue to be met considering the requested product changes. This position is responsible for coordinating, preparing and planning change notifications, cross-functional assessment of changes with development teams, and maintaining local and global alignment on related processes. In addition, the Product Compliance Specialist monitors existing and proposed regulations, evaluates their potential impact, provides guidance to development teams, and advises leadership accordingly.

The Product Compliance Specialist provides guidance to product development teams and operations on regulatory considerations related to changes, testing protocols, labeling, and configurations. Furthermore, this position will be instrumental in fostering and maintaining a compliance culture throughout multiple groups and departments.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a compliance-driven organization, collaborate with internal stakeholders, and help shape the regulatory strategy. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive mindset, strong attention to detail, and a passion for continuous improvement.
