Summary Description:
The Product Safety Engineer will lead and execute regulatory activities to ensure the compliance of TOPPAN’s packaging solutions. In this role, you are responsible for maintaining a high level of expertise in global regulations applicable to flexible and thermoforming packaging. You will leverage this expertise to support the business by handling internal and customer regulatory requests to validate and build confidence in the safety of TOPPAN products. This is a remote position. Title level will be determined based on experience and business needs.
What you’ll be doing:
This is a REMOTE position located in the EST or CST time zones
We would love to hear from you if:
10+ years experience evaluating consumer packaging for regulatory compliance or related work
Educational background in a scientific discipline such as packaging engineering, chemistry, toxicology, or a related field
Expertise in regional food contact regulations, including those of the USA, Canada, Mexico, Europe, South America, Asia.
Understanding of regional migration testing requirements
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences
Capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
