Remote only
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product & Technology Lead based in Switzerland.
In this role, you will take ownership of both product strategy and technical execution across a growing portfolio of global subscription-based digital products. You will lead the development and launch of new product lines while strengthening the shared technology platform that powers the entire portfolio. Combining hands-on technical expertise with strategic product leadership, you will oversee architecture, development processes, infrastructure, and production quality. Working directly with senior leadership, you will drive technical decisions, manage external development partners, and ensure that new products can be launched faster and more efficiently. You will also collaborate closely with growth and analytics teams to optimize acquisition, conversion, retention, and revenue performance. This is an opportunity to shape a scalable digital product ecosystem in a fast-moving, AI-first, and internationally focused environment.
As Product & Technology Lead, you will oversee the complete product and technology lifecycle, balancing new product launches with continuous improvements to existing platforms and business performance.
Own the end-to-end development and launch of new subscription products and conversion funnels, from initial build and testing through scaling and localization.
Conduct comprehensive audits of existing technologies, development processes, infrastructure, services, teams, and external vendor relationships.
Identify opportunities for improvement, develop evidence-based recommendations, and implement approved technical and operational changes.
Establish and manage development processes covering planning, prioritization, delivery, code quality, testing, and release management.
Oversee external development and DevOps partners, defining priorities, reviewing technical proposals and estimates, and ensuring delivery meets agreed quality and timeline expectations.
Design and evolve scalable, reusable platform architectures that enable multiple product lines and localized funnels to operate efficiently on a shared foundation.
Make and evaluate technical decisions related to architecture, integrations, infrastructure, databases, and development tools.
Take ownership of production reliability, including hosting, infrastructure, monitoring, alerting, incident response, and database performance.
Manage recurring billing systems and payment service provider (PSP) integrations, optimizing payment success rates, routing, and subscription processes.
Oversee the technical infrastructure supporting conversion funnels, including analytics, event tracking, advertising pixels, A/B testing, and growth-related data flows.
Build prototypes and minimum viable products (MVPs) rapidly using AI-assisted development and prototyping tools to validate new opportunities.
Collaborate with growth and analytics teams on acquisition performance, attribution, tracking, cohort analysis, and funnel optimization across Meta, Google, TikTok, and other channels.
Work with security specialists to maintain appropriate access controls and protect infrastructure and systems.
Analyze conversion rates, retention, churn, and customer lifetime value (LTV) to determine whether products should be scaled, optimized, or discontinued.
Develop repeatable technical frameworks, operational processes, and launch playbooks to accelerate future product development.
Work directly with senior leadership to align product and technology priorities with business objectives.
You are a technically strong leader with hands-on engineering knowledge, experience launching digital products, and the ability to connect technical decisions with measurable business outcomes.
At least 4 years of experience in technical leadership or technical product roles, such as CTO, Head of Engineering, Engineering Manager, Development Manager, or Technical Product Manager with a strong engineering or QA background.
Strong understanding of web application architecture, including frontend and backend development, APIs, integrations, databases, deployment, and infrastructure.
Ability to independently assess technical proposals, identify potential weaknesses, and challenge architectural or implementation decisions.
Experience managing or closely supervising external development teams, technical vendors, or outsourced engineering partners.
Proven experience launching digital products from the ground up, ideally in B2C, subscription-based, mobile, gaming, e-commerce, or other performance-driven environments.
Experience with recurring payment systems, payment service provider integrations, production monitoring, and incident management.
Knowledge of designing scalable, shared architectures supporting multiple products, markets, or languages.
Understanding of subscription business models, conversion optimization, customer retention, churn, and subscription economics, or the ability to develop this expertise quickly.
Familiarity with analytics and payment platforms such as Stripe, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Mixpanel, and Amplitude.
Experience with A/B testing platforms and SQL for data analysis.
Strong daily proficiency with AI tools for development and analysis, including solutions such as Claude Code, AI-powered prototyping tools, and LLM-based workflows.
Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Confidence working directly with senior executives and influencing strategic and technical decisions.
Professional fluency in written and spoken English.
Strong problem-solving abilities, technical judgment, autonomy, and a results-oriented mindset.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
Experience collaborating with paid acquisition teams and managing advertising tracking infrastructure, including pixels, server-side events, and attribution systems.
Previous experience with product localization and launching digital products across multiple international markets.
Experience auditing, restructuring, or optimizing existing technical environments and external vendor relationships.
Competitive compensation: Salary package based on experience and qualifications.
Performance-based bonus: Additional earning potential through a performance-linked bonus system.
Fully remote flexibility: Work remotely in a full-time position.
Strategic ownership: Take responsibility for both product direction and the technology powering an entire portfolio of digital products.
Direct leadership access: Collaborate closely with the CEO and COO without unnecessary management layers.
Large-scale impact: Build and evolve the shared technology platform supporting multiple subscription products rather than focusing on a single application.
Fast-paced environment: Bring new products from concept to market quickly and see the measurable impact of your decisions.
International exposure: Contribute to digital products reaching millions of users worldwide.
AI-first culture: Work in an environment that actively integrates AI into development, analysis, and daily operations.
Professional autonomy: Influence technical architecture, development standards, operational processes, and key business decisions.
Continuous innovation: Experiment with new technologies, validate ideas rapidly, and build reusable solutions that accelerate future launches.
