LOB Description:
Works LOB operates and manages AIT 6819 (Works Payment Manager) and AIT 63845 (Global Card Access) for Bank of America Large Commercial Card. The application infrastructure is externally hosted in third-party colocation data centers (in Austin TX and Smyrna GA) which are outside the Bank-managed domains and network. The systems are isolated for PCI compliance and other contractual reasons, and independently supported by Bank technical staff aligned under APS&E (Application Production Services & Engineering). The "Works" team is relatively small, self-sufficient, and self-contained by having its own Database administrators, Windows and Linux sysadmins, IT-Security and Network engineers, plus its own Development and Testing teams.
Job Description:
This job is responsible for tool and service designs within a technical domain that enable business strategies in accordance with architectural governance, standards and policies. Key responsibilities include creating infrastructure tools and their integration as a service, facilitating deployment of technical solutions by developing templates, playbooks and automation used during implementation. Job expectations include looking for opportunities to improve efficiency when implementing and maintaining tools/services and embracing a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
