Provider Partnership Manager (backed by Y Combinator, $5M+ ARR, $23M+ raised)

# **🧠 About Legion Health** At [**Legion Health**](https://legionhealth.com), we believe everyone deserves fast, affordable, and world-class health care, and we’re developing the AI infrastructure to deliver it ourselves at world scale. Legion is building **autonomous medical care** (the AI doctor), starting with psychiatry. Our AI-native care-delivery platform currently automates 95% of the administrative work required for us to deliver direct patient care. We also recently became the [**first company ever to receive regulatory authorization to let AI prescribe psychiatric medications**](https://nypost.com/2026/03/27/business/artificial-intelligence-can-now-prescribe-mental-health-drugs/), allowing us to not only collapse health care’s admin costs but also its clinical labor costs— **shifting this industry’s economics from humans to tokens.** Our technical moat is hard to copy—we combine **rich data, production AI, doctors in the loop** , and **end-to-end care operations** to deliver measurably better care to a clinically complex patient population. This has helped us produce **tens of thousands of total visits in just 2 years** , all while holding ops costs flat and achieving industry-leading patient NPS and retention. While the last generation of healthcare startups made the existing system incrementally more efficient, Legion is rebuilding full-stack care delivery from first principles. **Our vision?** A 10X better patient experience that’s higher quality, less expensive, and more scalable than ever before. And a 10X better clinician experience that frees our providers to focus on what matters most: caring for patients. Legion Health is backed by **Y Combinator** , leading venture capital firms, and founders from Function Health, Modern Health, Everly Health, Trusted Health, Clipboard Health, PatientPing, Sesame Care, Faire, EasyPost, and fuboTV. Join us as we build the future of health care: faster, higher-quality, and more affordable, powered by doctors and AI working together.   # **📍 Role Logistics** - **Job Type:** Full-Time - **Role Type:** Provider Partnerships / Field Sales / Referral Growth / Growth / Sales - **Ideal Experience Level:** 4+ years carrying and hitting a quota in a full-cycle, customer-facing role - **Location:** Regional territory (field-based), with occasional travel for team offsites and strategic meetings - **US Visa Sponsorship:** Yes # **🚀 The Opportunity** Legion is hiring a **Provider Partnerships Lead** to build and own the referral relationships that connect providers to Legion's psychiatric care. This is a ground-floor, quota-carrying role on a brand-new team: you'll be one of Legion's first dedicated field sales hires, which means you'll help define the playbook, not just run it. PCPs see mental health needs in their patients every day but rarely have a fast, trusted place to send patients. You'll be that trusted place — building in-person relationships with physicians, medical assistants, office managers, and administrators that turn a single conversation into a durable referral pipeline. You will own your defined territory like a business: unlocking new practice relationships, running the full partnership cycle, and growing referral volume in accounts you've already won. # **✅ Responsibilities and Deliverables** - Carry a quota for provider referral partnerships and referral volume in your territory, and treat it as your scoreboard. - Run the full cycle: self-source through prospecting, build the case with practice decision-makers, and close. - Keep your pipeline and account activity clean and current in the CRM. - Spend the majority of your week in the field meeting with physicians, medical assistants, office managers, and administrators; supplement with virtual outreach and follow-up. - Represent Legion credibly to clinical and administrative customers, translating a new category of AI-enabled psychiatric care into a clear, compelling referral case. - Map the decision-making unit inside each practice and build multi-threaded relationships that move a partnership from first meeting to live referrals. - Become a trusted resource to providers by educating them on Legion's model and the impact fast, accessible psychiatric care has on their patients. - Set each practice up for a clean handoff so patient referrals convert into scheduled visits. - Feed what you learn in the field back into messaging, targeting, and the sales playbook. You're building this function, not inheriting it. - Partner with leadership on territory design, targeting, and process as the team scales. - Collaborate with your peers across territories sharing what's working, troubleshooting objections together, and helping build a team where everyone's win rate goes up. # **🏆 You’ll Be Successful If You…** - Are driven by the number: hitting quota is satisfying, beating it is the point, and you don't need anyone chasing you for it. - Would rather write the playbook than inherit one, and see the ambiguity of a new category as opportunity, not friction. - Earn trust with physicians quickly. You can get in front of a busy clinician, read the room, and move a skeptical conversation toward a signed partnership. - Treat change as normal. Territories, tooling, and the field/virtual mix will evolve as we scale, and you adapt fast while staying focused on results. - Are energized by the mission of making fast, affordable psychiatric care accessible through better referral pathways. - Welcome coaching and feedback and treat growth as a team sport. # **🧰 Ideal Background and Skills** - 4+ years carrying and hitting a quota in a field-based or B2B2C role; healthcare, medical device, or pharma referral sales strongly preferred. - Comfort and skill in front of clinical and administrative buyers; you can build physician rapport and move a conversation toward a partnership. - Strength selling in person, with the judgment to know what a given relationship needs. - Highly organized and analytical, comfortable owning a number and reasoning from your own pipeline data. - Strong written and verbal communication, with the polish to represent Legion well externally. - Familiarity with CRM and sales tooling. - Existing relationships with provider referral networks are a plus, but not required. # **💰 Compensation & Benefits** - Comp: OTE range of $120,000 to $180,000 depending on experience. Competitive base + uncapped, performance-based variable commission tied to your number, plus meaningful early-stage equity - Additional Perks: Mileage and travel reimbursement at the IRS standard rate, coverage for field and provider engagement expenses, cell phone stipend - Time Off: Flexible, unlimited vacation policy - Work Setup: Remote, in-field with some travel for team meetings - Benefits: Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage - Impact: Build the referral engine that connects primary care to the future of psychiatric care - Growth Opportunities: As we scale, this role can grow into a leadership role, building out enablement or larger partnership role. # **📝 How to Apply and Hiring Process** - **Apply here:** [https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/legionhealth/2289fb02-74da-4f4c-8ffc-e5973a39329c/application](https://jobs.ashbyhq.com/legionhealth/2289fb02-74da-4f4c-8ffc-e5973a39329c/application) - **Overview of our hiring process:** - **Estimated time-to-hire:** 3 weeks - **Start date:** ASAP # **🤝 Equal Employment Opportunity** Legion Health is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
