QA Engineer

Aristocrat Interactive, a leading provider of technology and platforms in the iGaming industry, invites an Intermediate Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. This role is perfect for a QA specialist skilled in manual testing and growing in automation who is dedicated to producing high-quality software and improving testing approaches. This is a hybrid position based in Skopje. Team members are required to be in the office three days per week, with flexibility to select their in-office days based on personal preference and business needs.

What You'll Do

• Develop, maintain, and complete test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Perform manual testing across web applications and APIs.
• Develop and maintain automated UI and API tests using existing automation frameworks.
• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects through to resolution.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Developers, DevOps Engineers, and other QA team members.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release validation activities.
• Reproduce reported issues and assist development teams during troubleshooting.
• Contribute to the ongoing refinement of QA processes and testing methodologies.
• Investigate and document production issues when required.
• Provide clear and concise test reports and status updates.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years proven experience in Quality Assurance.
• Strong hands-on experience with manual quality assurance processes.
• A minimum of 1 year experience in automated testing.
• Experience with Playwright (UI automation), API testing, TestRail, and Git.
• Basic TypeScript knowledge.
• Good understanding of functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Test case creation and execution.
• Bug lifecycle and defect management.
• Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g., K6) is considered an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to learn and continuously improve.
• Proactive attitude and strong ownership of assigned tasks.
• Passion for software quality and delivering reliable products.

Nice to Have

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Basic knowledge of performance testing.
• Experience with cloud environments.
• Understanding of the iGaming sector.
