Quality Assurance Officer - Children's Services

Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Assurance Officer to join Bolton Council's Children's Services on a locum basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in improving practice standards and driving positive outcomes for children and families across the service. You'll work closely with operational teams and managers to ensure high-quality social work practice and continuous service improvement.

What will your responsibilities be? 

• Undertake audits of children's social care casework.
• Identify strengths, areas for development and themes across the service.
• Support quality assurance and performance improvement activity.
• Contribute to practice development and learning initiatives.
• Produce detailed audit reports and recommendations.
• Work closely with managers and practitioners to promote best practice and compliance with statutory requirements.

Qualifications and Experience: 

To be successful in this role you must have;  

• Social Work England Registration.
• Qualified Social Worker status.
• Significant experience within Children's Social Care.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding legislation and statutory guidance.
• Experience of auditing, quality assurance or practice improvement work is desirable.
• Excellent analytical and report-writing skills.
