Quality Systems & Manufacturing Manager
Location: Columbus, OH

Starting Salary: $100,000/year (Higher salary available based on experience)
Work Split: Approximately 70% desk-based / 30% product and manufacturing floor
Position Overview
Seeking an experienced quality leader to oversee quality systems and manufacturing quality for a growing industrial operation. This position is responsible for strengthening the Quality Management System (QMS), improving product and process quality, maintaining compliance, and leading continuous improvement initiatives.
The role works closely with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and senior leadership across sheet metal fabrication, busbar fabrication, mechanical assembly, and related manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of quality leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience leading quality systems, compliance programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of quality management, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and process improvement.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing organizational change.
- Strong communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Experience
- Background in electrical equipment manufacturing, power distribution equipment, switchgear, control panels, industrial equipment, or related industries.
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, busbar fabrication, welding, machining, and mechanical assembly.
- Experience with engineer-to-order (ETO) or configure-to-order manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 systems and audit processes.
- Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, ASQ, or related quality certifications.
- Experience supporting mission-critical infrastructure, data center, utility, or industrial customers.
