Reporting to the Lead Radiographer, you will build your clinical confidence across general X-ray and theatre imaging, with the opportunity to train in additional modalities including angiography, CT, MRI and Mammography as your skills develop.
About the Role

Key areas of responsibility include:
• Performing diagnostic X-ray and theatre imaging examinations, producing high-quality images in line with clinical protocols
• Informing and supporting patients throughout imaging procedures, responding to questions and concerns or referring them to appropriate information sources
• Promptly escalating findings requiring immediate clinical attention to the radiologist or senior medical staff.
• Complying with radiation protection standards (ALARA), EPA licensing requirements and patient privacy and confidentiality obligations
• Contributing to continuous quality improvement activities and the development of current and new clinical protocols
• Participating in professional development, annual performance review and the informal supervision and support of imaging students
