Regional Director, Enterprise Sales (West)

About the Position

AvePoint is seeking a high-impact Regional Director, Enterprise Sales (West) to lead and accelerate a key growth segment of our West business. This frontline sales leadership role is ideal for a proven enterprise seller-turned-leader who knows how to win in complex, high-value environments, earn credibility with experienced enterprise sellers, and drive consistent performance across a portfolio of large accounts.

The West is a key growth region for AvePoint, with significant opportunity ahead. You will inherit a strong foundation and elevate it through strategic rigor, executive-level customer engagement, forecast accuracy, and a repeatable approach to account acquisition, expansion, and revenue growth. You will help build, develop, and scale the regional sales team, not only manage an established one, while coaching experienced sellers without slowing them down, influencing complex opportunities, and creating clear accountability across the region.

What You Will Be Doing

• Lead and scale a team of Enterprise Account Executives across a defined North America Western region, driving new-logo acquisition and growth within large, complex enterprise accounts.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop top enterprise sales talent, building a high-performing team and operating model that can scale with regional growth.
• Translate regional targets into clear territory, account, pipeline, and execution plans; inspect progress and remove barriers to performance.
• Coach and develop experienced sellers on account strategy, qualification, pipeline quality, forecasting discipline, and deal execution.
• Partner directly with sellers on high-value opportunities, including executive engagement, account planning, multi-threading, value positioning, and negotiation strategy.
• Reinforce disciplined enterprise selling through rigorous qualification, clear stage progression, mutual action plans, and opportunity management.
• Drive expansion within existing accounts by identifying whitespace, cross-sell, upsell, and platform-adoption opportunities.
• Engage senior business and technology decision-makers to connect AvePoint solutions to customer priorities and accelerate strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with Solution Engineering, Customer Success, Marketing, Revenue Operations, Product, and Partner teams to improve customer outcomes and win rates.
• Bring customer, market, and competitive insight back to the organization to strengthen positioning, messaging, and go-to-market execution.
• Maintain operational excellence through accurate forecasting, pipeline inspection, quarterly business reviews, territory planning, and performance management.
• Serve as a visible leader within the North America sales organization and contribute to broader go-to-market priorities.

What You Will Bring

• 10+ years of enterprise software or SaaS sales experience, including significant experience selling to large enterprise organizations.
• 3+ years of sales leadership experience leading quota-carrying Enterprise Account Executives.
• Experience hiring, building, and scaling high-performing enterprise sales teams, ideally in a high-growth region or business.
• Demonstrated success personally selling, or leading teams selling, complex enterprise opportunities with transaction sizes of $250,000 or more.
• Strong executive-selling skills and the ability to engage senior decision-makers across business and technology functions.
• Proven ability to coach high-performing sales professionals while driving accountability, inclusion, and results.
• Strong command of forecasting, territory planning, opportunity management, and enterprise sales execution.
• Excellent communication skills, business acumen, and executive presence.
• Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.

Bonus Points

• Experience in data security, backup, governance, resilience, cloud, infrastructure, or adjacent enterprise technology categories.
• Background in a high-growth SaaS organization or scaled enterprise software business.
• Experience with partner-driven or channel-influenced go-to-market models.
• Track record leading teams that sell into large enterprises with complex buying centers and lengthy sales cycles.
• Familiarity with MEDDPICC, MEDDIC, Challenger, or a comparable enterprise sales methodology.
