GloGlo is building an AI-native therapeutics company based in **San Francisco**. We are developing AI research agents that analyze scientific literature and biological datasets, generate and challenge hypotheses, design experiments, and learn from wet-lab results.
We are looking for a **Research Scientist Intern in Biology** to work closely with our founding team on early-stage research in Type 1 diabetes and autoimmunity.
### What you’ll do
* Help design and execute wet-lab experiments
* Support cell culture, molecular biology, immunology, and assay development
* Analyze experimental results and help interpret biological findings
* Work with AI-generated hypotheses and translate them into testable experiments
* Review scientific literature and relevant datasets
* Help improve our **in silico <> in vitro / in vivo** research loop
* Work directly with the founders and research scientists in a fast-moving startup environment
### What we’re looking for
* Currently pursuing or recently completed a **BS, MS, PhD, or equivalent research training** in biology, immunology, bioengineering, molecular biology, or a related field
* Hands-on wet-lab experience
* Strong scientific curiosity and attention to experimental rigor
* Comfortable learning quickly and working independently
* Excited about Type 1 diabetes, autoimmunity, and the intersection of AI and biology
This is an **in-person internship in San Francisco** (housing provided) with the opportunity to have significant ownership over real research from day one.
