One80 Intermediaries is seeking a Risk Management Services Associate to join our growing team.

The Risk Management Services Associate provides support across Claims, Loss Control, and Risk Analytics. The role assists with claims administration, client reporting, data management, risk financing analysis, and loss control activities while working collaboratively with account teams to support client risk management programs.

How You Will Contribute:   

• Perform the business impact strategy directly with customers, one-on-one, while carrying out loss control and/or claim duties, exercising independent judgment in advising customers on how to improve their risk profile. 

• Assist in reporting new losses to insurance carriers and third-party administrators. 

• Support Claim Advocates with claim documentation, correspondence, file maintenance, data entry, and preparation of claim review materials. 

• Assist the Analytics team with collecting, organizing, validating, and standardizing claims and risk management data received from multiple carriers, third-party administrators, account teams, and other sources. 

• Support the development, testing, maintenance, and continuous improvement of recurring and ad hoc client dashboards, risk financing analyses, reports, presentations, and related analytics processes. 

• Assist the Loss Control team with document management and data entry. 

• Working knowledge of construction projects/builder risk. 

• Learn OSHA regulations for general industry, loss control “best practices” and workers compensation programs is required 

• The position requires the consultant to be initiative-taking and work well without close supervision. The individual must be able to make decisions with and without established guidelines and to provide technical support to customers, brokers, and underwriters 

• The position requires excellent people skills (verbal and written) and provides a customer-focused approach. 

Skills & Experience to be Successful:  

• Knowledge of or interest in commercial lines insurance, claims, loss control, and risk management. 

• Ability to learn and apply insurance terminology, basic claims and risk financing concepts, and coverage structures in support of reporting and analysis. 

• Ability to translate data and analytical findings into clear and concise business insights. 

• Ability to work with large datasets and perform basic data analysis, reconciliation, and quality-control activities. 

• Ability to work collaboratively across Claims, Loss Control, Analytics, and account management teams.

• Experience with or interest in Power BI, data visualization, and business intelligence tools.

• Familiarity with basic data concepts, including structured datasets, tables, relationships, and unique identifiers, preferred.

• Familiarity with Power Query, data transformation, or similar ETL tools preferred.

• Demonstrate proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

• Ability to provide superior customer service.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments and recurring deadlines.

Pay Range

80,000.00 - 80,000.00 Annual

The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
