Join Cleveland Clinic’s Neurological Institute and help pioneer the next era of neurological care. Our new one‑million‑square‑foot, 15‑floor expansion brings outpatient, surgical, imaging and inpatient services together under one roof — creating a high‑acuity environment where advanced technology, procedural precision and multidisciplinary collaboration shape every moment of care.
As an Imaging RN, you’ll practice across multiple modalities — including Vascular Access, Interventional Radiology, and Diagnostic Imaging — supporting complex neurological cases that require rapid assessment, technical accuracy and seamless coordination with radiologists, neurologists and procedural teams. You’ll work with advanced imaging platforms, assist in high‑acuity procedures, manage contrast administration, monitor patients pre‑ and post‑intervention and ensure safe, efficient throughput across imaging environments.
A phased onboarding and structured cross‑training program builds your competency across modalities, strengthening your ability to practice at the top of your license while expanding your procedural expertise. Inside this purpose‑built facility, every space is designed to elevate your technical skill, sharpen your clinical judgment and support breakthrough care for patients facing complex neurological conditions.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
- Provide professional nursing care to patients undergoing neurological interventional radiology procedures, CT and MRI exams, and vascular access procedures before, during, and after care delivery
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, monitor patients throughout procedures and recovery, document findings, and communicate changes in condition to the appropriate members of the care team
- Perform nursing procedures and administer treatments and medications in accordance with established standards and protocols
- Establish individualized plans of care in collaboration with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team
- Coordinate ongoing care, identify discharge needs, and facilitate safe discharge planning
- Provide patient and family education related to procedures, treatments, medications, and ongoing care needs
- Maintain competency across assigned specialty areas through ongoing education, training, and clinical practice
- Collaborate with nurses, technologists, physicians, and other team members to provide safe, efficient, patient-centered care
- Cross-cover other nursing roles within the department as needed to support patient care and team operations
- Contribute to quality improvement, patient safety, and the ongoing development of the Neurological Institute imaging program
