Cleveland Clinic's Gynecology/Urology Operating Room is dedicated to delivering exceptional surgical care to patients of all ages. This specialized unit performs a wide range of complex procedures, including kidney and uterine transplants, gender-affirming surgeries, hysterectomies, pelvic organ prolapse repairs, prostate cancer surgeries, and advanced robotic-assisted procedures.
As a Registered Nurse on this team, you will play a vital role in ensuring patients are safely prepared, supported, and comfortable throughout every stage of their surgical journey—from preoperative care through recovery. Your clinical expertise, attention to detail, and compassionate approach help create a positive patient experience, providing reassurance and comfort during what can often be a challenging and emotional time.
How You’ll Benefit
A caregiver in this position works days + on- call requirements from 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. or 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. The call window is 1 hour. Orientation is 6 months long Monday – Friday from 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. with no weekends or holidays during orientation. Shifts are assigned after orientation.

Physical Requirements:
Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 25 pounds and ability to push, pull, and navigate supply carts weighing > than 75 pounds periodically.
