This role will lead Project Farma’s Safety and EHS program across the Americas region, setting regional strategy, standards and governance for all sites and field service operations, in alignment with the Global EHS strategy across PerkinElmer. This role will collaborate closely with the EHS incumbents across PerkinElmer. Additionally, this role will serve as the senior EHS advisor to regional leadership within Project Farma, building a proactive safety culture, ensuring regulatory compliance in every operation in the region and driving measurable improvement in EHS and environmental sustainability performance. Key Responsibilities

- Implement EHS policies, standards and procedures consistently across Project Farma and field service operations, adapting them to local regulatory requirements
- Provide governance oversight of the EHS management system across the region, and drive continual improvement.

- Ensure compliance with applicable EHS laws and regulations; monitor emerging regulations and plan proactively for their impact
- Serve as the principal company contact with regulatory authorities in the region on significant EHS matters, inspections, permits and enforcement actions
- Oversee regional risk management programs, including hazard and risk assessment, environmental aspects and impacts, industrial hygiene, chemical management and radiation safety
- Direct investigation of serious incidents in the region and root cause analysis, ensuring effective corrective and preventive actions and sharing lessons learned globally
- Lead emergency preparedness, crisis management and business continuity planning for Project Farma in collaboration with Security, Facilities and Operations
- Manage the Project Farma audit program and lead EHS due diligence and integration for acquisitions, divestitures, new sites and site closures in the region
- Partner with the Global EHS team across PerkinElmer and other regional EHS leaders to share best practices and contribute to global EHS initiatives
