### About Altur
We are building a call center run entirely by AI agents. We handle hundreds of thousands of voice and WhatsApp conversations every day for some of the largest banks, fintechs and call centers in Latin America.
We are a YC-backed team of 9, and we build everything in-house, from telephony to the agents themselves. Our bet is that with the right technology, a small team can deliver a better service than companies 100 times our size.
### About the role
We are hiring our first SDR. You will build Altur's sales team from zero.
Until now, all of GTM has run through the CEO. Demand is growing faster than one person can handle. You will open conversations with heads of collections, credit and customer experience at banks and fintechs across Latin America. You will turn those conversations into qualified meetings, and you will be in the room when they turn into pilots.
You will work directly with the CEO on every part of our sales strategy: who we go after, how we reach them and what we say. As the company grows, you will grow with it and help build our go-to-market team.
This role is remote. Ideally you are based in Mexico City, and you can work from our office in Condesa whenever you want.
**What you will do**
* Research and prospect decision-makers in collections, credit and customer experience at banks, fintechs and call centers across Latin America.
* Run multichannel outbound (LinkedIn, email, phone and WhatsApp), and write and test your own sequences.
* Qualify early: who decides, what problem they have, how they collect today and what process they buy through.
* Book meetings and join them. Run discovery, take notes and own the next step with a date.
* Keep the CRM clean and measure what works by channel, segment and message.
* Represent Altur at industry conferences and events.
* Use AI tools to automate your own research and outreach, and help build the sales playbook we will use as we grow the team.
**You'll be a good fit if**
* You speak fluent Spanish and Portuguese, and you have strong professional English.
* You are obsessed with AI tools and excited to change an industry that has not changed in decades.
* You are relentless. A "no" or a lack of reply is just one more data point.
* You write short, clear messages that people want to answer.
* You care about results, not activity. You measure yourself by qualified meetings and pipeline, not by messages sent.
* You thrive in ambiguity and can build process where none exists.
* You want to grow into a sales leadership role and help build the go-to-market team.
**You're not a good fit if**
* You want a laid-back job.
* You need a finished playbook before you can start selling.
* You are not looking to commit and grow with the company long term.
**Big plus if**
* You have experience as an SDR, BDR or in B2B sales, ideally selling to banks, fintechs or enterprises.
* You have sold to, or worked in, collections, credit or contact centers.
* You have used Claude, ChatGPT, Clay, Apollo, HeyReach or similar tools to prospect.
* You have early-stage startup experience.
### Our values
* High ownership. Make your own decisions and be responsible for them.
* Endurance. Think long term and act with integrity.
* Simplicity. Concise, clear and efficient work.
* Open minded. Hold strong opinions loosely, and question them when the evidence says so.
* No ego. Winning as a team comes first.
* Passion. We want people who take pride in the work they do.
### Compensation & perks
* Base salary of MXN 35,000 to 50,000 gross per month, adjusted to experience, plus commission.
* Medical insurance.
* Gym membership.
* In-person company offsite every year.
Visa sponsorship is offered for this role.
