Airwallex is the AI-native financial operating system for a real-time, intelligent economy. More than 675,000 businesses, including McLaren Racing, Qantas, SHEIN, and TikTok, use us, directly or through our platform partners, to run their financial operations or build and monetize financial products of their own.
We started in Melbourne in 2015 to build the infrastructure global commerce runs on. We're the regulated backbone behind global payments: not by accident, but by design. A decade plus, 85+ licenses, and a financial infrastructure spanning North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.
We're co-headquartered in San Francisco and Singapore, with more than 2,300 people across 27 offices. We hire builders with founder-level energy, people who move fast with good judgment, dig in with real curiosity, and make calls from first principles rather than waiting to be told what to do. Identify customer needs, articulate Airwallex’s value proposition, and move qualified prospects toward product demonstrations or sales conversations.
Manage lead follow-up, CRM hygiene, activity tracking, and pipeline reporting to ensure strong visibility and execution.
Support a portfolio of SME customers in Taiwan by building relationships, understanding their business needs, and helping them adopt relevant Airwallex products.
Use customer conversations, product usage signals, and market insights to identify activation, retention, cross-sell, and upsell opportunities.
Proactively resolve customer blockers, flag at-risk accounts, and partner with internal teams to improve customer experience and commercial outcomes.
Share feedback from prospects and customers to improve outreach strategy, product adoption, and team processes.
Strong motivation and self-starting ability, with comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Natural communicator who enjoys connecting with people, asking thoughtful questions, and building trust with customers.
Commercially minded, with the ability to identify customer needs, qualify opportunities, and support revenue growth.
Resilient and adaptable, with the ability to maintain performance amid changing market conditions and priorities.
Process-driven, with an interest in developing, documenting, and following scalable ways of working.
Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work collaboratively with customers and internal stakeholders.
Results-oriented mindset with ownership, curiosity, and motivation to achieve KPIs.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin to support customers in Taiwan.
Comfort using software tools and CRM systems to manage customer activity, track pipeline, and prioritize opportunities.
Strong interest in technology, fintech, payments, financial services, or helping SMEs grow globally.
Prior experience in an SDR, BDR, customer success, account management, or hybrid commercial role.
Experience working in start-up, fintech, e-commerce, travel, mobile gaming, software, or other digitally native business environments.
Familiarity with CRM tools and a data-driven approach to managing leads, customer portfolios, and commercial priorities.
Experience supporting customers through onboarding, activation, product adoption, retention, cross-sell, or upsell motions.
Track record of top performance in a sales, customer success, or customer-facing role.
Understanding of Taiwan SMEs, cross-border commerce, international payments, or digital business models.
